what size range did the red/white dresses come in

:) Our Walmart had sizes ranging from 12 months up to 5T but were already out of many of the sizes when I first saw them. We went back the other day and they were totally out of the red with white polka dots dresses. They only had some of the other colors left. HTH :wizard:

Hi! Did you find the skirt and tank top at Walmart too? If not, where? What sizes did they have? Thanks so much!!

Hi! Yes I did find them at Wal-Mart too in a size 4 girls for the skirt and size 4/5 girls for the top but I think it was a total fluke....I was looking at other clothes when I couldn't find the dress and dh comes over with the skirt/shirt and says "How about this?", he found it looking through the clearance rack...it was the only skirt/shirt they had like that! Way to go dh! :rotfl: And in the right size too! So, I don't know if you would have any luck finding it at another Walmart :sad2: ...but you never know! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Thanks!! I will have to search around the stores here and see if I can find anything. I really need something for my oldest DD. She will be almost 8 but wears a 10/12 or usually bigger these days. She is getting harder to buy Disneyish and Princessy stuff for and I feel bad. LOL

very cute! love the matching flip flops. you should add some korker ribbon to them to fancy them up :)

Oh, I was thinking some rhinestones. I know my dd would love anything that sparkled. Cute top, too. DD would love the pink Hawaiin print, too.

hey all! well after almost completing my first twirl skirt w/ no injuries, my wheels are spinning and i thought id like to make one for each day of our trip (it got shortened t0 4 days:mad: but oh well 4 is better than none!;) )
anyway, i was dreaming up a skirt that had flags from various countries for epcot. i know ive seen usa material, but does material exist that represents other countries- like their flag all over it or something? thanks for your help!

Hi all

Thanks for your quick replies for the Minnie dot fabric. HLAuburn, thanks for your reply that you had some you may want to sell. I am after about 3 yeards and live in Adelaide Australia so not sure what postage is or anything but let me know if you would still like to sell some. I am not sure if I am made or not going to this extent to make outfits for DD 5 but you only live once. Right.

Oh I will look tomorrow! Is it something new they have or is it clearance? Under $5 sounds like a bargain! :thumbsup2

I found a red and white polka dot 3 tiered skirt with shorts under it at walmart. I bought one for my dd and her cousin. I then made both an appliqued Minnie t-shirt to go with it. They were darling.

This is a great idea and I may have to borrow it if you don't mind. I was thinking of maybe buying 4X6 flags and doing a patchwork with that. I looked around and found a website: www.united-states-flag.com/insticflag.html and they have every flag. They are about $1.50 a piece and it might work. This is coming from someone that really can't sew but am determined to learn. i have so many ideas and I spent a small fortune on ebay outfits. I really would like to try some on my own. I was also thinking of a tank with the Epcot ball and the word EPCOT appliqued to it. For DS I was thinking of doing the same shirt and buying country patches to attach to some jean shorts.

Also Jo-Anns and walmart has Nemo fabric. I just found a very cute Nemo print at Jo anns in their clearance and had to buy it. It is has different characters in squares all over it, even has his buddies from the dentists fishtank.

Here is DD's outfit for Animal Kingdom. She is almost eight.
I was thinking of putting a black mickey on the bodice though.

dont mind at all if you borrow "my" idea!- i borrow all the time from the wonderful ladies on this thread! i have a VERY simple twirl skirt pattern if you need one- im a very beginning level sewer myself! thanks for the website.

I found the Minnie dot fabric today at Hancock's! Mytwotinks and I had both looked everywhere for it a few months ago, and we were told over and over again that it was a discontinued print. :confused3

I bought all 8 yards that my local store had. The saleslady told me that it had a reorder # on it so hopefully it is something that they will carry continuously again. :)

Hey! I'd love to have an easy twirl pattern! Would you mind to share with me? TIA

Has anyone ever made bandana clothing? I have heard it is very easy and cute. Thought about doing a pirate one for my DD and need instructions.

That dress is cute! I wish I could sew but my DD is 7 now so it would be almost useless for me to start now :sad1: since she will only wear these outfits on vacation.

An Ebayer that I have bought smocked dresses from (excellent work! I loved them and I am repeat customer) has recently started doing Disney themed boutique clothes.

PM me if you want the sellers name. I have her permission to share it. Here is a current piece.

I should have learned to sew BEFORE I had twin girls:laughing:
