Nothing expresses a mother's love like handing your child a glove with a dead rodent in it!

Poor Arminda! Now when they have the "my mom is so mean" conversations, she will just say, "dead mouse" and everyone will shut up!
.
I'm laughing so hard about this I can hardly type!
YOu and me both sister....STEPH, you're funny, who knew?
I am making an apron top or dress (can't decide but probably dress AND pants) for DD with the following pattern:
Butterick 5019
I will be using Minnie Dot fabric for the main fabric. I was thinking about putting a ruffle along the bottom edge of the front piece and Rumba ruffles on the back part in yellow, white or black. Would that look silly?
Also, what color bias tape for the arms/neck? Yellow?
Any ideas would be great.
Thanks.
I used a yellow ruffle on my minnie outfit (top and pants) and it was only so so...then I added some black piping on it and it just really made it POP. So I would suggest using black bias tape w/ the yellow ruffle I think you could use black white and yellow for the rumba ruffles and I agree go w/ the dress length to show off those ruffles.
Yep, My 18mo neice loves her! I am so out of the loop, I didn't even know who she was!! All DS2 watches is the Wiggles!
Don't feel bad, I didn't know who she was either, we just started to see her in the store and she was at the live show at Seaworld. She also had a baloon in the Macy's parade the comentator(sp) said "Abby Cadabby is a new neighbor on Sesame St. She is a 3 year old fairy in training and is learning how to use her wand" or something there abouts. So now you know Abby!!!
I went christmas shopping today which was a real blessing. My dad's sister sent us $200 for Santa presents which was more than I had so we were extremely glad to be able to go shopping. Luckily I'm a good shopper and I think that I was able to get a pretty good stash of christmas presents for under the tree w/ just $150 per kid. Of course w/ 7 years between them there is the HUGE disparity between the size and # of Little's presents VS. Mac's. But his are mostly CD's DVD's video games and books. I know he understands but it still seems like her stuff takes up 3 times the space that his do and I remember those years, my sis and I are 4 years apart and I remember when I got my first stereo w/ a CD player and a cd and she got 15toys...No worries, I'm just glad that there will be SOMETHING under the tree this year which is something I never thought I would have to worry about.
Enough rambling, it's dinner time.
