I need some help!! I'm looking for Abby Cadabby (from Sesame Street) Clip Art or coloring pages. Whenever I search, I come up with the plush doll. I need the drawing of her!! Can Anyone Help?

I can't find a page for her on PBS Kids website. But you can buy a t shirt from thewirelesscatalog.com

Just go to their website and go to the children's section. THey have shirts with all the characters. I couldn't save the image of the shirt. But it is a pink shirt with her face on it. Maybe you know a different way to save the image? Right Click doesn't work.

You may have to go look for a coloring book with her in it.

ooh I know Abby Cadabby personally! Sweetie works with her at SW. I could probably get him to draw another pic of her if you could tell me what exactly you need. Is it for an applique?

That would be awesome!! I want to applique her on a tee for a (almost) 2 year old. I think I only need to do her upper body. Thanks, see what you can do.

This was the only photo I could find...and the quality is awful when you blow it up, but it's really cute...

Do you want to hear a really gross story?? Too bad, I'm going to tell you anyway!
..."Mayson is throwing up in his bed :scared1: i get down there and he is just laying in it

That's Grossx2..Could ya'll ease up!!! Poor mayson and Arminda

The only "bad" thing that's happened is that one of Delaney's princess rag dolls is missing, she must have gotten mixed in with the housekeeping laundry. They are supposedly looking for her but no work yet. I'll have to call in the morning and see if they have had any luck, I sure hope they find her, I'm starting to get worried. Delaney is asking about her, if they can't find her I hope I can find one at one of the Disney Stores. She'll be upset if we can't find a replacement. .
I so hope you find her doll the poor dear..

Seems as though I'm saying that a lot tonight.

Nothing expresses a mother's love like handing your child a glove with a dead rodent in it! :rotfl2: Poor Arminda! Now when they have the "my mom is so mean" conversations, she will just say, "dead mouse" and everyone will shut up!

.

I'm laughing so hard about this I can hardly type!

YOu and me both sister....STEPH, you're funny, who knew?:confused3

I am making an apron top or dress (can't decide but probably dress AND pants) for DD with the following pattern:
B5019.jpg

Butterick 5019
I will be using Minnie Dot fabric for the main fabric. I was thinking about putting a ruffle along the bottom edge of the front piece and Rumba ruffles on the back part in yellow, white or black. Would that look silly?
Also, what color bias tape for the arms/neck? Yellow?

Any ideas would be great.

Thanks.
I used a yellow ruffle on my minnie outfit (top and pants) and it was only so so...then I added some black piping on it and it just really made it POP. So I would suggest using black bias tape w/ the yellow ruffle I think you could use black white and yellow for the rumba ruffles and I agree go w/ the dress length to show off those ruffles.:thumbsup2

Yep, My 18mo neice loves her! I am so out of the loop, I didn't even know who she was!! All DS2 watches is the Wiggles!
Don't feel bad, I didn't know who she was either, we just started to see her in the store and she was at the live show at Seaworld. She also had a baloon in the Macy's parade the comentator(sp) said "Abby Cadabby is a new neighbor on Sesame St. She is a 3 year old fairy in training and is learning how to use her wand" or something there abouts. So now you know Abby!!!

I went christmas shopping today which was a real blessing. My dad's sister sent us $200 for Santa presents which was more than I had so we were extremely glad to be able to go shopping. Luckily I'm a good shopper and I think that I was able to get a pretty good stash of christmas presents for under the tree w/ just $150 per kid. Of course w/ 7 years between them there is the HUGE disparity between the size and # of Little's presents VS. Mac's. But his are mostly CD's DVD's video games and books. I know he understands but it still seems like her stuff takes up 3 times the space that his do and I remember those years, my sis and I are 4 years apart and I remember when I got my first stereo w/ a CD player and a cd and she got 15toys...No worries, I'm just glad that there will be SOMETHING under the tree this year which is something I never thought I would have to worry about.
Enough rambling, it's dinner time.

...t.

I keep looking at this pattern. I keep thinking to round the back point edge. A ruffle could go all the way up to the top.

Yes I did!!! :yay: :yay:  Living in Wisconsin, I am a huge Packers fan. When the Packers were playing the Cowboys, I posted on that thread and said that I would rather be a Packers' fan anyday of the week over a Cowboys fan. Well, the tag fairy has a sense of humor and put "Would rather be a Cowboys fan over a Packers fan" in my tag! I was so upset, but he/she eventually fixed it!

Hey, a fellow Wisconsinite! Where do you live? Another Diser was moving to WI, was that you or someone else?

I cut out very close to the applique, and then just straight stitched it onto the top. I also stitched it in several places around the applique to really secure it into place!

Good luck with it. My daughter got the MOST compliments on this one!
I really don't want to part with ours yet!

Thanks Tom!

I think the diser you're talking about is me! We got here just in time for the big snow last weekend and have been counting the 12 or so inches dropped since then! Quite a welcome to Wisconsin if we ever had one! Of course, the moving van came and unloaded all the boxes on Monday, on the ice and snow packed driveway. I am in the middle of unpacking boxes, but I did promise some pics, so tomorrow I'll go outside and take some and post them.

Anyway..... have to say, I just got back online this morning (talk about withdrawl..... :lmao: ) and....

It's REALLY good to be back!

I missed you all and am looking forward to catching up!

Great to have you back!!! Glad you're moved and safe. Wish you happy unpacking:wizard:

Can't wait to have you around more often.

Does anyone else realize that there haven't even been 2 full pages of posts on this thread today? What's up? Where did everyone go? Is everyone at WDW? Everyone busy with holiday stuff? Everyone ticked off because of something? Did everyone go to another board and I missed the announcement? I don't remember a time that this thread has been so slow since I started reading it 6 months ago!

I wonder if it is b/c Heather was leaving to go out of town today -- you know she has been trying to move herself up the "Post the Most" ladder! :lmao: :lmao: j/k!!

Just got home, my Mom is in the hospital, and decided to come to read this thread to destress.

Here is a picture. It also has velco pieces that fit into a pocket that I made on the skirt. The pieces can change the look of Mrs. Potato Head.

OK, everyone - we're getting ready to leave tomorrow! I think (I hope) we're all packed up. Just had to post real quick before bed. If anyone recognizes my two little crazies come and say hi!

Did someone say you made the applique out of a shirt? Where did you get the shirt again? That's awesome!

I too have noticed how slow thing have gotten here. I think mostly because of the holidays. Traveling, shopping, visiting, wrapping, company..... Me personally, I've been making my DD's school yearbook and its been time consuming.

Lori-
I hope that the ice stays away for you to get out of here tomorrow okay. We fly out on Tuesday and they are predicting another storm system then but hopefully it will hit after we are in the air.
We'll be on the lookout for you and all the other disboutiquers.
Have a great time.

Amy
