Heather!!! Glad to see you up and around! Hey, I might could swing a trip out for a singalong campfire in May- what do you girls think about that??

...t.
Whatever it takes to get some of us together when we're down there!!

Heather- what happened?? I was never able to get through all the pages I missed when I was at WDW I know I missed a lot. So glad you are feeling better though.

I'm kind of embarassed about it because it's not a big deal. Well, at least it's not out of the ordinary for me. I have an auto-immune disease called antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. It's main effect on the body is that it causes blood clots. But, it also can cause extreme fatigue and muscle pain and lots more problems (but these are the 2 that I get a lot). The fatigue and muscle pain come and go, so I can have good weeks/days and bad weeks/days with no rhyme or reason. Today I feel like a normal person!

There, now everyone knows! If you want to read a little more about it, here's a link to the scary story of how I almost died when Sawyer was 5 weeks old on my website:

I vote for campfire !!!
SOOO glad today is a good day. And just so you don't feel like the only freak I have some crazy thing called "Raynaud's Phenomenon" which causes constriction of blood vessels in your digits (finger and toes) and sometimes ears, nose or lips to constrict and become ice cold and numb. Sometimes randomely, sometimes triggered by cold or positioning (like everytime I have my foot of the clutch my second toe goes completely numb) It's crazy and isn't life threatening or anything but only about 5- 10% of the population have it and my sister and I both were diagnosed w/ it. Crazy!!

I've actually heard of Raynaud's. Some people on the APS (antiphospholipid antibody syndrome) Yahoo group I belong to have both APS and Raynaud's. NOT good (constricted blood vessells and blood that tends to stick together and clot)!

Even non-life threatening stuff can be a real pain in the butt (or foot, as the case may be), so I feel for you!

I am OFFICIALLY excited now!  We leave for our Thanksgiving trip (Actually our very first trip to DW as a family!) in 8 days and the outfits are complete! :cheer2:
Cute outfits....I love em! Have a terrific vacation!!!! :cheer2:

Guess what I got for $50??????? Can yah guess, can yah??? HMMMMM........should I tell yah??????? Yah, .......

A serger!!!! It's the Singer one, and I've heard they aren't as good, but for $50 I thought I'd give it a try!
:dance3: Yaaaa, big score on the serger...I was looking at the one at the dry cleaners and they look so complicated. I am askeered to try  one! Let me know how it goes.
BTW I love the pic in your siggy of you two by the castle....I remember the castle just like that!

Well I finally finished her fleece jacket. I still have more fleece left over. I am trying to figure out what to do with it. I made her neck pillow (just needs to be stuffed) and her blanket to match.

Ok I won't take up any more room here- I'll have a ton more in my report- I took over 800 pictures. That's after I deleted the bad ones!!!! :scared1:
I love all your pics...I am subbing onto your trippie! ;)

Hey, I have Raynaud's. It causes problems in the cold so being in Alaska is just stupid. Oh well. I have a very mild case so no biggie. I was diagnosed as a teenager. It's funny how I assume nobody else has heard of it.

See, that's funny! I would imagine that being in AK your raynaud's is a pain. I live in FL. and it bugs me. My hands are perpetually freezing. it could be 98 degrees outside and someone is going to tell me my hands are cold.

I'm from California and I had problems with it there. But ironically here you take such precautions that it hasn't been that much worse. Not great but not horrible. Of course I don't ski, dog sled, etc. I spend my winters inside!!!!!

Does this little guy look familiar?
11-13-07turkeyapplique.jpg

I love the little turkey in you all's siggy, so I made him into an applique for Sawyer. This only took me about an hour to do. I just told myself I didn't care if I screwed stuff up, he'll only wear it a few times. Here's Sawyer wearing his new sweatshirt (he loves it and kept saying "gobble, gobble"):

Really I should just shell out the $10 for the pattern...but I'm cheap, not to mention broke ( I can't wait till my new job starts) so I thought I'd see if some clever craftster has figured it out yet.

...t.

OOH! OOH! OOH! That first pair is AWESOME! Man, my wheels are spinning now! Cinderella blue with a big glass slipper on the side... Ariel with seashells... so many possibilities! This is so cute!

Oh My Goodness! How ingenius to turn the turkey into an applique! AND he is such a cute little gobbler!

I am NOT suggesting that you search :confused3 AROUND for princess zuma's and see what you find (the other sets that this designer made) if you find one and open it it will have pics of different ones. But I am not suggesting you look for them:wizard: anywhere specific.

People call my kiddos (12 months and 2 days apart) "Irish twins"....I personally call them "just as hard as" twins. :goodvibes

And after this weekend, they are sharing the cat's nicknames of "scourge and pestilence"
Oh this just struck a funny bone :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :lmao: :lmao:

I haven't been on here in a few days and I'm not going to attempt to go back and read everything. But, of course I have to comment on some of my sister's comments because I love her best. If anyone was wondering, I'm feeling good! If you weren't wondering, TOO BAD!
Heather I am so glad to see you...I really missed ya!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

Hey everyone - I promise that tonight after work, I'll post some pictures of the Little Einsteins fabric that I bought last night at Hancocks. And, I forgot all about some fabric that I bought on :wizard: from some place in Asia. I picked it up at the PO today, and it's just so cute. One is Tink and one is Mickey. I'll post those tonight too.
Oh oh I can't wait to see it.

I do have an announcement to make! I have tickets for Disney Playhouse Live in Philadelphia. I am making a custom for the two little ones to wear, of course....I will post a pic as soon as I can!

I read the whole thing...gee I almost cried....everything you write makes me cry  I am appalled at the doctor's mis-diagnosis and the treatment you received at the hospital. I have no patience for stuff like that. Maybe cause my dad was a doctor but I am crazy about doctors care and treatment. I am assuming you have been treated correctly since???? Yeeshhhh :sad2: My poor little Heather friend...I'm sending much prayer and pixie dust your way pixiedust:

Heather...OMG you are amazing!!!! Love it:Pinkbounc I must CASE this! Actually, since it was such a breeze for ya-just make me up 2 for my boys!!:rotfl: I'm really glad that you're back & you're having a "good day"!!::yes:: You're in my prayers.

Sawyer is such a little handsome dude, you are blessed!!

That must have been something! I can't wait to see your pictures!

AWW....I missed out on so much! Look at these gorgeous girls with their daddy!! I can't believe these pictures were taken almost 2 years ago!!
I know, my babies are getting too big! (well, Lydia is getting too big, Arminda isn't much bigger than she was in this picture!)

I know what you can do with that machine, give it to your sister!!
Ummm, no :cool2:

NO!!! I have asked (begged) to see them and she is torturing me for some reason. I got my Pikachu fabric at my local quilt shop, pm if you want me to run by and see if there is any left.
She is being mean! Hey MISTY!!! teach Wendy to upload pictures!

I have not had a alot of time since we returned with all the :laundy: , mail, bills and work oh yeah and catching up on sleep- You just don't realize how tired a Disney trip can make you until you get home and it catches up with you!!! And now dd is sick- on both ends if you catch my drift- fun fun!!! At least she is sleeping a little more so I hope she gets over this soon!!!
So we had to skip preschool today- No need to expose all ds's classmates to the virus!!!

UGGH! Try to get some rest so you don't get sick! I hope she is feeling better soon!

Anyone have a mock Zuma pant pattern?

There is a Thai fisherman pants pattern on the bookmarks site that is a wrap type pant.

Whatever it takes to get some of us together when we're down there!!

This was such a scary time. I can't think about it or talk about it or write about it without bursting into tears. When I left the hospital every night, I didn't know if I was going to see her again in the morning. The day thay moved her to Ann Arbor was one of the worst. I don't know how I made the drive up there. Every mile marker I passed, I thought, "One more mile closer to Heather."

Cute outfits....I love em! Have a terrific vacation!!!! :cheer2:

I was pretty excited about the serger!!! :dance3:

That picture was taken in 1972, when I was three. That's our brother, David with me. We have went to Disney pretty much every year since they opened, but this is one of the few pictures we have with us acutally in it. My Dad isn't real good at taking pictures of people!

Have I ever mentioned that my brother has tons of baby pictures, Heather has tons of baby pictures, but me??? The MIDDLE CHILD has ONE! ONE single baby picture!! Apparently my beauty was too great for the camera to behold and it broke! :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I CANNOT believe I missed the FISH KILLER dragging my good name through the mud, and trying to get you guys to side with HER!!!

I found my seam ripper! :cool1:

Here is the fish killing story: http://www.sptimes.com/2007/11/05/Hillsborough/News_on_the_go.shtml

Even though I am not teenage boy caught on tape killing fish, Heather has been warning people to keep their fish (and fishy kids) away from me. She thinks it is amusing. :snooty: I would not mind if you told her she was crazy.
I'm not the one disguising myself as a teenage boy and going around killing koi.

Ummmmmmm..... those is fightin' words!!! :scared1: :scared1: Maybe you can quick erase them before Heather sees them!!

I mean- come on people! Heather may be a design/fabric thief..... but crazy????
No, no..... I don't think so....... ;)
Yeah, Yeah, I only steal designs....Um...yeah....WAIT a MINUTE!!! I am not a DESIGN stealer. I'm just an idea stealer, a concept stealer, if you will.

Ooooh, that is a crucial detail that I missed... :scratchin Hmmm suspicious, yes.
Yeah, yah see, who's crazy now, HMMMM???

OMG that Tink border fabric is awesome! I love it. Where is this guy in Asia. He has some cute fabric.
