Kids Disney Boutique / Customs Clothes Part 5

Okay, I'm back. My "surprise" company left today Okay, I do love these people (DHs sister, BIL and 2 of their daughters.) I even often enjoy their company, but it was just not a good time and they never even asked us if they could stay. Now I'm thinking about Heather's uninvited dog and I'm thinking this may top that DH's OTHER sister did leave us a message on the answering machine to let us know that their sister and her family would be coming in a couple of days to stay with us. That was it. Okay, had to vent a little. I'm just glad to have my craft room back and now I can sew again and have my own computer back. I have already finished Lily's Valentine's dress. It turned out pretty cute. I'll post pictures when I can get it on her. I did manage to get photos of her wearing the (famous pillowcase) Cinderella jumper I made. She was not very cooperative. I can't tell you how many photos I had to take! And she's still sticking out her tongue in the best one. Dolly is lying next to her.

She is just a little doll! Tooo cute!

I don't know but this is now my new favorite shirt and I don't even have one!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!



I'm gonna have to make something like this since Little is now aHUGE Cinderella fan. Why oh why didn't Santa bring her that movie?? I dropped plenty of hints!!

Being New Years we had a HUGE blood drive today and I spent most of the day feeling like a Disney character inside of Beauregard the Bloodhound...I had fun w/ it but it was HOT. Sometime during the day I tripped on the ENORMOUS feet and sprained the top of my foot. I'll be spending the rest of the evening w/ my feet up, an ice pack and a glass of Reisling. I hope you are all safe and sound on New Years Eve!!! See ya next year!

So sorry to hear about your foot! Feel better soon! We are home tonight with a very sick one year old. She just woke up with a 103.5 fever! I gave her some tylenol and it seems to be helping! She is back to bed so we will see! Hope everyone is having a good night and

Happy New Year!

My 3 year old is running around the house telling us all Happy New Year. She's such a night owl, she'd rather be up late and sleep in than the other way around. It's going to be heck getting her back on a schedule again...

Guess what I just did! I ordered an embroidery machine! After much research and deliberation, I went with the Singer Futura 150. The lady I ordered from said it would ship out today and would only take a day or two to get here! WOO HOO! :

WOW!!! Ok, that was worth the horrible wait you put us through!!! That is just spectacular!! You really did a great job, and Emily looks adorable in it! I love the spinning pictures!!! Lydia is loving it too!

I just watched Tessa's review of Enchanted, very adorable Heather!!! Lydia loved it too!

Hey, we should have a DIS boutique retreat! We could have a weekend getaway, just us girls (Oh, & Tom?) up all night laughing & giggling away. We can have chick flik marathons & do each other's hair. Than "whip up" a few fashions & have a runway show! Sounds fun!!!! I think I know the perfect location & it all began with a Mouse!!!!

Now, doesn't that sound like fun!!!!!! I know, we can all stay at Cindee's house!

Well, my DH leaves early tomorrow morning for ORLANDO, without me He's going with a friend to the Capital One Bowl. I can't believe he didnt bring me and just drop me off at Disney whilst he goes to the game.

Well, on a brighter note, I decided to start making appliques that can be sewed onto outfits whenever it is that we are able to get back to Disney. It takes such a long time to do them (for me a whole day). I figure if I can make 20 or 30 different ones, then I can plan the outfits to go with them when the time comes. For now they are sewed on a coordinating base fabric which I will have to trim and then zigzag around it on the real fabric down the line. So I started with my first one the other day...it's Ariel! Hopefully, with practice, I will get better at doing them.

And finally, my daughter's friend/family, invited her to go along with them to see High School Musical On Ice. I didnt have time to make a custom. However the girls wore matching tees and bracelets! Here's my DD9:

Oh, OWWWW!! Take it easy girly!

You just upload at least 1 minute video reviews of products you already have in your house (DVDs, computer games, appliances, etc...). They pay $10 for some reviews, $5 for some, and $2 for others (I don't waste my time on $2 reviews). You just record yourself talking about the stuff and then upload it to the website. They paypal you the money at the end of the month! If you want more info, PM me and I can give you some tips.

Since I couldn't get on the Disboards today, I decided to make a bunch more movies for the month. I made it to $120 this month, most were done yesterday and today.

I ordered the pink Tink one. I like all of them, so it was hard to decide.

I love those! I kept thinking of ordering the Alice one.

Nope, the women's and juniors sections were all jumbled together under "adult clothing". When I actually got the shirts, they were labeled "juniors" and "women's", but they didn't bother to specify on the site. When I called customer service, the woman on the phone told me I should go to the store and see them in person before ordering. I told her if I had a Disney store nearby, why wouldn't I just buy the clothes there?

Well, wasn't she so very helpful!!! GEESH!

I took a break from videos and looked outside. It was so pretty, I thought I'd take some pictures to share with you guys. The snow is falling so fluffy and pretty tonight! And, it's not too cold out, only 31 degrees.

I asked to speak to someone else at one point, but there was no one else to talk to. She did finally talk to a supervisor and they said they would send a UPS person to my house to pick up my return free of charge since it was their mistake.

Although, after having a sleep over with her friend, and watching HSM 2, they have decided that they want to be teenagers. She told me she already has "skills" to be a teen. I told her I don't think so! Go back to watching Dora, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

Those are beautiful pictures! The snow looks so perfect, it almost looks fake! It was weird how warm 32 degrees felt last night. I didn't wear a coat into the party (just had on a long sleeved t-shirt) and on the way out, it was snowing with those huge snow flakes and I wasn't even cold!

Exactly what "skills" are involved with being a teen?

My DS, one day when he was 3, put on his brand new cowboy hat and boots, grabbed his belt and put it on, then came into our room and announced that he was a MAN as proven by the boots, belt, and hat.

My New Year's resolution is to actually organize my sewing room and store my stash. I figure if I start on it the instant I get home, I should be done by next year this time.
