Well, here it is!! I just noticed that the ribbons on the jeans aren't even!! Other that that, I happy with it!! It's not crooked, it's just hanging funny! LOL! We're off to get Emilys hair cut then to lunch with daddy and grandma, I'll try to get pictures with her in it later!!

I used the pillowcase from Walmart for Cinderella.

I even did her eyelashes and eyebrows by hand!! A first for me!!

Thanks for looking!!
That is just adorable you did a wonderful job , Did you get the ribbon/jeans pattern off of YCMT ?

LOVE this! I need to get those pillowcases before al lthe disboutiquers buy them out!

I used a sling with my youngest, but she's around 20 lbs now & I can't carry her for long in a sling because it hurts my shoulder. I don't think I cuold stand to carry my 4 yr old. Most slings like that are only supposed to hold kids up to about 35 lbs. There are other types of carriers that might work though. I'll have to look for some links.

My 4 1/2 year old only weights 30 pounds, so maybe I could pull this off. She still gets wiggly when being held though, that's why I wonder if this might be a good option.

Guess what I just did! I ordered an embroidery machine!   After much research and deliberation, I went with the Singer Futura 150. The lady I ordered from said it would ship out today and would only take a day or two to get here! WOO HOO!

I love the pillowcase from Walmart. The colors are so much brighter than the pillowcase panels! I still have the princesses from the oter side to do something with...

Yes, I used the YCMT directions for the threaded jeans. I probably could have figured it out on my own though!

Thanks for all the compliments! I'll try to get pictures of Emily after nap.

All of these adorable girl outfits on this thread are wonderful!!! I would be so broke, b/c I don't sew. I would have to pay someone to make them all!! LOL!!

you girls have some fantastic talent!!! I guess if I ever have a girl, I'll have to take up sewing. ;)

How beautiful!! She is a doll and that outfit is precious!!!

OK, was looking through the pics, and I need to ask a question. WHoever posted this:

Did you make it? If so, could you please share the outline of Stitch that you used for the applique? I LOVE Stitch and can't draw or find a good pic of him in a colorin book ar anything I could reliably trace. I would love to use this outline for a tee shirt for me. Please?

Or, if anyone has a good, relatively large pic of Stitch with solid outlines, could you please PM it to me?

Thanks so much!!

Don't know what you want but how are these? They're small but you can enlarge them on you computer.

Thanks! I have a program on my computer where I can take black line drawings and turn them into appliques, but it's enormously fussy. The hula stitch sould work well if it resizes clean, THanks!

What program does this? Is it for an embroidery machine? This sounds great!

It IS for an embroidery machine. It's Viking's Embroidery professional 3D or 4D (I have both..both do it). It's in the digitzer. It's quite a bit of work to get it right, as it can be fussy, but once it's done, it can be really pretty. I am LAZY, and can never seem to get a smooth applique line, but when I program it, I will sit for 3-4 hours and get it right, then I never have to do it myself again. :goodvibes Unfortunately, I lost my entire hard drive to a virus a few months ago, and have to redo everything. :headache: I used to have entire coloring books scanned on my hard drive, adn then I let the kids color them, then threw most out! Ugh!

I am SO jealous!! Let us know how you like it!

She looks adorable in it! I like it even better on!

Do any of you do reviews on http://www.expotv.com/? Teresa and I both uploaded video reviews of Enchanted (with help from Tessa and Lydia) today. Here's the usernames of the fellow disboutiquers that I know of over there:

Me: HeatherSue
Teresa: Teresajoy
Deann: tnmom25
Teresa's son, Corey: Coreyjune12

If anyone else has any reviews over there, I'd love to watch them! Give us your username! There is another thread about this on the disboards, but I was curious how many of us disboutiquers have been making money for fabric by doing video reviews!

That's what I figured! I can't wait to get my machine and learn how to use it so that I can add software and create appliques with it. OOH! I can't wait now!

What a bummer you lost all your designs! I'd be sick over that!

You can make money doing this? How do I get started?

I'm swamped with work today. :laundy: I can't comment on all the cool stuff that's been posted today.

Her expression is priceless, is she trying to model like Cinderella? I looove this outfit! :cutie: Fantastic job!! The light blue is so true to original Cinder, I just adore it! :lovestruc

I've been watching those pillowcases in Wally & think the Tink would be fun. It'd be just a tad too big for my niece. Dh would kill me if I tried to pull some of the male modeling girl's clothes that goes on around here!:scared1: ;) Sigh, once again...it'd be fun to have a girl to dress up.

I'm thinking of a way to possibly make a flannel nightgown like Tom's Leigh, for myself. :rotfl: My BDay is Jan 7th & I think I'm going to make a few things just for me. I'm gonna try to allow myself that luxury, without feeling Mommy guilt of any kind!:rolleyes1

I already have Mary Engelbreit pjs to make for a scrapbook retreat in February.:thumbsup2 Also, I have this retro I Love Lucy apron pattern on my mental to do list. My dream is to make it with a "working" Cinderella on the front like Heather Sure did for Tessa in October. That'll be my Happy BDay gift to myself. This will be my last year celebrating before hitting the big 40 & claiming I'm in my 30's for the next decade or so...:rotfl2:

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I've been trying to post for an hour and the page wouldn't load. Anyway, I need your help. I am looking at these shirts on disneyshopping.com. But, they don't tell you if they are junior's sizes or women's sizes. It seems I always guess wrong. Last time I got an XL that was huge and an XL that was tiny. So, I was wondering if anyone knows how these specific shirts run.

I am pretty sure these are womens sizes. I bought one for a friend in November. She is pg so I bought her a lg. It looked plenty big. It was in the adult section at the Disney Store. VERY cute. I bought her the blue thinking it was a Cinderella shirt. Didn't look to closely! She told me later is was Alice! Ooop! I wish I had bought one for myself.

I feed mine Exceed Performance (chicken based), Vitamin c, Triple Flex, wild salmon oil and biotin, spray down daily with a diluted conditioner solution and bathe, blow dry and trim weekly to keep coats in good shape.

Twob4Him and UtahMama: Babies are color coded so I can be certain that all are gaining weight at the same rate. Also, so I can take notes on the development of their personalities and temperament as they grow and match the puppies I don't keep with the right family and lifestyle for that puppy's personality and temperament :thumbsup2

Sigh, show people just put us lay folk to shame in taking care of their beauty Dogs!;) I wish I had the time & finances to keep this kinda quality routine with my girl. :guilty:

I can tell you are a very dedicated & responsible breeder. :thumbsup2 Watching their personalities & matching it to future owners is very important. Do you do any of the puppy testing, like Volhard Test? Gorgeous pups! Best of luck with them all.:flower3:
