Your dd is absolutely adorable, I love seeing pics of her! Did you make the hairbows too?

I'm so jealous!!! It was 58 here yesterday, of course now it's a tad bit colder but no snow yet!

Although, after having a sleep over with her friend, and watching HSM 2, they have decided that they want to be teenagers. She told me she already has "skills" to be a teen. I told her I don't think so! Go back to watching Dora, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Happy New Year friends.

My 4 dd's stayed up till midnight for the first time. And DH and I went out for the first time in years. We had a super time.

Everyone has been so busy making great outfits. Im trying to make a valentines something for my twins in between working on this year book. The YB has consumed much of my time.

Everyone, be safe and have a great start to the new year. :goodvibes

Lyddy is still up. Big suprise. Brian and the kids are at his brother's house.

I took a break from videos and looked outside. It was so pretty, I thought I'd take some pictures to share with you guys. The snow is falling so fluffy and pretty tonight! And, it's not too cold out, only 31 degrees.

Dogwood tree Mom and Dad bought me when Corey was born:

And this is what it looks like when you look sraight up into the sky:

I told Lydia that Megan (Stephres Megan) had never seen snow, and she said, "Of course, that's why she lives in Florida." Duh

That is the prettiest snowfall I have seen in a while. Love the dogwood tree and that it was planted for something special.

Okay, I'm back. My "surprise" company left today    Okay, I do love these people (DHs sister, BIL and 2 of their daughters.) I even often enjoy their company, but it was just not a good time and they never even asked us if they could stay. Now I'm thinking about Heather's uninvited dog and I'm thinking this may top that :rotfl: DH's OTHER sister did leave us a message on the answering machine to let us know that their sister and her family would be coming in a couple of days to stay with us. That was it. Okay, had to vent a little. I'm just glad to have my craft room back and now I can sew again and have my own computer back. I have already finished Lily's Valentine's dress. It turned out pretty cute. I'll post pictures when I can get it on her. I did manage to get photos of her wearing the (famous pillowcase) Cinderella jumper I made. She was not very cooperative. I can't tell you how many photos I had to take! And she's still sticking out her tongue in the best one. Dolly is lying next to her.

Company can always be quite interesting!

I LOVE the Cinderella outfits and the one for the dolly too!

2cutekidz, not sure if I quoted yours earlier. I was drooling over it yesterday!

All of these adorable girl outfits on this thread are wonderful!!! I would be so broke, b/c I don't sew. I would have to pay someone to make them all!! LOL!!

you girls have some fantastic talent!!! I guess if I ever have a girl, I'll have to take up sewing. ;)

I don't have any girls and sew all the time! It is alot of fun.

Do any of you do reviews on http://www.expotv.com/? Teresa and I both uploaded video reviews of Enchanted (with help from Tessa and Lydia) today. Here's the usernames of the fellow disboutiquers that I know of over there:

Me: HeatherSue
Teresa: Teresajoy
Deann: tnmom25
Teresa's son, Corey: Coreyjune12

If anyone else has any reviews over there, I'd love to watch them! Give us your username! There is another thread about this on the disboards, but I was curious how many of us disboutiquers have been making money for fabric by doing video reviews!

Heather and Deann I had no idea that you were on expo! I'll add you as friends to mine and DH's. I always watch out of both to get everyone extra pennies! I'll add Corey too!

Mine is jessica52877, same as here and DH's is linlee_54 , but he is not too exciting. Dallas is in his alot, always wanting to get in on the action.

Dallas will sit and play expo all the time. I have countless videos of him reviewing different products!

Everyone go watch Teresa's review of I think it was a Quality Inn, it is too funny!

I thought I was the only one doing reviews on NYE. I sat up until midnight getting my 75th in for the month!

Do you guys do Shared Review too? I slack on tht site though, it isn't as fun. And running out of things to do for expo. Like Heather said, it just isn't worth it for $2 really.

I was trying to start a V'day outfit. I just have too many ideas rolling around in my head and no desire to actually go to walmart and get some fabric! I need some coordinating for what I have!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! (EARLY)
Happy New Year!!! party:

Oh yes, Spongie, UtahMama and I are taking our girls (except Lily). The tickets are $15 each but it was filmed at the concert here in Salt Lake City, so taking DD10 will help ease the guilt that I did not take her to the actual concert. We couldn't go because we were in Disneyland that weekend, yet I still feel guilt. We'll have to do a TR. Misty and Wendy can write it (should we invite Misty's MIL?) and I'll be in charge of photos (that way I can stay out of them ) The tickets for the "good seats" and the popular times were selling fast, but I believe there are still plenty of tickets.
Ow wow you are a plethera of info!! Thanks! I wish I could join you gals! Perhaps I will take my bestest friend and her two girls and we will go together!! :3dglasses

Shame on your hubby for leaving you!;) How dare he not take you to Disney!:rotfl: Love your applique. It looks really fantastic. And your daughter, GORGEOUS! She is sooo cute in her outfit!
Hahahaha...it is nice however to have the house to myself! :happytv: Thanks about the girls too!

Okay, I'm back. My "surprise" company left today And she's still sticking out her tongue in the best one. Dolly is lying next to her.

th_IMG_0068.jpg
You know this just means that you are very gracious and well prepared. If people showed up unexpectanly to my house they would have no food to eat and I would make them work :rotfl: YOUR DD is just so ADORABLE!!!! And I love the matching doll outfit. I am working on a set this week myself!

I was having the same problem this morning, it wasn't your computer!

Nope, the women's and juniors sections were all jumbled together under "adult clothing". When I actually got the shirts, they were labeled "juniors" and "women's", but they didn't bother to specify on the site. When I called customer service, the woman on the phone told me I should go to the store and see them in person before ordering. I told her if I had a Disney store nearby, why wouldn't I just buy the clothes there?

You didn't have to tell us it's Ariel! That applique looks good!! What a great idea to do them ahead of time and then attach them to the outfit.

Your DD looks so pretty! HSM on ice sounds like so much fun!
Well I am glad you did finally "get through to customer service". Don't you hate that they never speak English  well! Thanks about DD and applique.;)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
Looking forward to a wonderful 2008!

How DARE he not take you!
I love the applique! Great job!
Your daughter looks adorable!

Since I couldn't get on the Disboards today, I decided to make a bunch more movies for the month. I made it to $120 this month, most were done yesterday and today.

And, I LOVE your new siggy picture!!! I love that dress on Tessa!
Thanks Teresa! Now wait a minute....whats this about making $120??? Somehow I missed it. The boards have been so spotty lately. I just went to the Disney website and typed in requirements for my perfect Disney vacation....it came to $7000  So I am in need of mulahhhhh! :rolleyes1

I love these designs. But I don't understand the directions on her site at "the site that must not be named". It says to request format DST, EXP, JEF, PCS, PES, SEW, VIP, XXX and have software like palatte, magic box or other. How do I find out what program to use? I've been afraid to order from her becuase I might ask for the wrong thing. And what is Palatte or Magic Box. These designs would be so cute on an outfit.

I finally have my Christmas pics ready to show. It seems like I haven't had more than a minute or two to myself for the last 2 weeks. Maybe this week will slow down some.

I made dd4 a Santa tutu dress. She danced around the house in it for days & wore it to her Day School party.

2007_12130001.jpg

Santa came to the library & naturally I forgot about it so the girls weren't wearing any of their cute Christmas clothes, but they did match that day. :)

santa2007.jpg

Christmas morning in their new nightgowns.

DD4 with her new box o potato head parts. This was one of my favorite gifts of hers just for the story behind it. When we were in Disney World dh & I snuck off for a night alone & went to Downtown Disney. Mostly because I wanted to get dd the potato head stuff. I tried so hard to cram all the princess pieces in there with a couple of others & knew she'd like. I just couldn't get Ariel to fit no matter what I tried. When I went to check out the cashier asked if I got everything I wanted & I told him I couldn't make Ariel fit, but she'd never know that it was even there so it didn't matter. He looked at the box & said 'It's worth a try'. He got the pieces & stood there for at least 5 minutes trying to fit everything in the box. He finally got it all the fit (ripped off one of the box tabs in the process), put stickers on the top to keep it closed, threw it in a bag & checked me out as quickly as he could so that if the box popped open he wouldn't see it. I told he'd just made a 4 year olds Christmas & he said that was his job.

These are embroideries for an embroidery machine. The 3 letter codes are embroidery formats and the Palette or Magic box are software programs for getting embroideries fro our computer to your machine or machine's card.

Hi, Sally!
Okay, Those are designs for a machine embroidery. Different machines "read" different formats...like Brother, Babylock, bernina, to name a few "reads" the PES format. The software she is mentioning are different brands of card reader/writer gadgets (boxes) that when pluged into the USB port of your computer will download the designs from the computer and "write" it to a card your machine embroidery machine will be able to "read" to produce the designs. I have purchased designs from the person you are displaying, I just recently purchased the MP Nanny Applique design. The embroidery machine I have is a Brother PE700 and the "box" I use is a Brother PED-Basic. So It would depend on what type of machine you have but it does require a machine that does embroidery like the Brother Disney 270 which is at Walmart. If you have any other questions just ask I have been into machine embroidery for about 6 years now. The hobby is very addicting!!! To quote an earlier post the machines are "coffee-drinking while the machine does all the work"...Tee Hee Hee" Nana

We have the Disney PED 180-D embroidery machine. I know I have to watch for the embroidery size, I think ours does the 4X4. We've had it about a year, but don't know that much about it (Mom and I share). I think we've both been afraid to mess it up with anything but the basics. BUT, it is a new year and we need to make a change. I do have the basic PED to convert for the Disney machine, but I've never used it. I'm not sure where to find the format information.

Brother uses the .PES format usually. If you have the software to convert, that's the important stuff. :) Hope this helps!

That is certainly heading me in the right direction!! It's a HUGE help. I keep trying to read the manuals, but they put me to sleep.

Of course I would love to CASE you, Your daughter looks ADORABLE in this outfit! Hmmmm.... ruffles, ruffles, ruffles. One of my daughter's favorite things!

Although, after having a sleep over with her friend, and watching HSM 2, they have decided that they want to be teenagers. She told me she already has "skills" to be a teen. I told her I don't think so! Go back to watching Dora, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
That souns like Arminda when she was about that age. She wanted nothing more than to be a teenager! She was always talking about what she would do when she was a teenager. It was pretty funny really! The skills thing cracks me up!! Do you watch Napoleon Dynamite??:rotfl:

I don't mind, but Morgan might and the futon is in her room LOL. I can see it now Josie snuggled up in bed with Jord in her mouth :scared1:

Guess I should start a sign up sheet for the sewing machines huh? :lmao:

Happy New Year everyone!
Cindee
Ok, good sounds like a it'a a go then! ;)
Those are beautiful pictures! The snow looks so perfect, it almost looks fake! It was weird how warm 32 degrees felt last night. I didn't wear a coat into the party (just had on a long sleeved t-shirt) and on the way out, it was snowing with those huge snow flakes and I wasn't even cold!
When I typed that, I was wondering if people would think I was being sarcastic, but it really was warm out! It's pretty nice this morning too! A whole LOT more snow though! I took some pictures this morning too. But, it's not as pretty as it was last night, just a lot more!

Brian ended up sleeping at his brother's last night with the kids. He came home to get ready for work this mornig, but left the kids at his brother's house! :scared1: Lydia is seriously missing her sister! And, I'm missing my little girl! I kissed her good-bye Sunday morning, but she was still sleeping, so I haven't really seen her since Saturday night! I can't take this sort of thing! :scared1:

My DS, one day when he was 3, put on his brand new cowboy hat and boots, grabbed his belt and put it on, then came into our room and announced that he was a MAN as proven by the boots, belt, and hat. :rotfl2:
That is too cute!!!

When Arminda was about 4, she decided she was all grown up. She kept telling me she was grown up now. Then, she found a pair of shoes that she had worn the previous summer, and they still fit. She exclaimed, "These shoes fit, I guess I'm NOT all grown up yet!" I don't know, it was just the funniest thing! She had no sense of humor at that age, so she was dead serious!
That is the prettiest snowfall I have seen in a while. Love the dogwood tree and that it was planted for something special.

I wonder how many people were up last night uploading reviews, instead of watching the ball drop! I got one in JUST before midnight! Like seconds!

I have never heard of Shared Review. Is your username Jessica52877 on there too?

I do video reviews on Expotv, they pay you $10, $5 or $2 per review, depending on what the product is. It's easy to do, and gives us a little extra money for Disney! There are some threads on it on the Dis somewhere, that's where I first heard about it. It's easy to do, so give it a try!

Nana, do you like doing applique on the machine like that? I have always preferred to just do it by hand but always up for giving something a try.

Oops! I just screwed up your quote Teresa! Yes, my name on sharedreviews is jessica52877 also. I am pretty plain jane boring. You have to do 5 to get paid $10, but it is writing vs the videoing (although I think you can video now) so sometimes I think it is worth it and others I don't. Depends on my mood.

Check out the budget board for the expo threads! I hang out there alot more trying to save or make money always.

What!!! You went shopping without me... I could have been there in 30 minutes tops...:rotfl:

Krispy,

Me TOOOOO I could have been there too (I drive faster than Castle) LOL (Ok I also live closer:rotfl: ). Which store is closing in Orlando?

Castle-road trip? LOL

Cindee

It's the store on Sandlake over by the Florida mall... They are closing for good on the 24th, so you better hurry! :)

I should have said something I would love to meet you girls...

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!!!

2Cute - I love the cinderella dress it's so cute.

My emily and I headed to Seaworld for NYE, just for the shamu show at 9 then a little walk around the park and then home by about 1045. It was a nice night and really not as crowded as I expected.

Off to watch football and sew while my little guy is napping!

I told Lydia that Megan (Stephres Megan) had never seen snow, and she said, "Of course, that's why she lives in Florida." Duh

I showed Megan the pictures and read your comments and she said, "I have seen snow! On tv!" She is sure it is exactly the same thing. Those pictures are breathtaking!

She also informed me that she is ready to drive because she played the driving video game down at the sports bar we go to all the time and it's very easy: there is one petal to go, one petal to stop, the black bar you push up and down (I think she means the gear shift) and just don't run over anyone when you steer. Super simple! Why are all our babies trying to grow up so fast?

Tom, I am going to CASE your sleepover nightgown for our friend in the hospital. Tomorrow I am off to look for flannel in orange, her favorite color. I'll let you know how it goes!

Tampa girls: my mom has found a sewing and quilt expo that is coming to here: http://www.sewingexpo.com/
She is very excited and wants to us to take classes together. I am taking Serging for Rookies and Sewing for Your Little Sweetie. It would be cool to see other DISers there!

I am still sick (yuck). My company left this afternoon so I can get my house back to normal. It seems the longer the grandparents are here, the worse my children act! They were positively bratty by today!

Look what my mom sewed for scrappy! It is a little fleece hooded jacket. Jacob says it looks "gangsta" which I think offended my mother:

My kids STILL aren't back from my brother in law's house! And, it's still snowing!
