Yoo Hoo, all you late nighter ladies...
Ok, curious folk just gotta know...after you put the younglings to bed
& get cranking out these fabulous creations,
do you get to sleep in the next morning?![]()
Does DH get the kids to school for you?![]()
I must say I'm just green with envy because ds(6)
get's the bus at 6:45 am.He goes to bed quick
at 8:30-9pm, but he's an early riser-often up before
the sun at 6:00 am or earlier. It is impossible for
me to stay up late & create/work on anything-my brain
is a mush puddle at 8:00pm!!!![]()
![]()
I was determined to get some sewing done last night
& drank coffee for dinner, to fight the exhaustion.![]()
Still didn't work-I cut up fabric all wrong & crooked.![]()
Then decided-I'll just cyber Christmas shop.![]()
Just about snoozed out some where between "shopping cart" & price comparing!![]()
So I hit the hay & couldn't rest all night due to my
cup of joe surging & my brain trying to do financial calculations (shopping)!!!![]()
Here's to all the late night crew,
I admire you much & one day-one day hope to be in the company!!!
Well, I can tell you I have the same problem. My littlest gets up at 6am so that's when I am up. Sometimes I try to sew after the go to bed but I really do my best sewing before it gets dark.
I can see a difference. Could barely see your do on the origional picture. You could try some horsehair braid. Or make a petticoat with more netting in it. I use petticoat net. The only place I've seen it is Walmart. But I was just in JoAnne's and they have some colored petticoat net in the bridal department. It's like a craft net, but really, really stiff.
Thank you, but please use a thumbnail next time! I scared myself (why do I look so mad!).

May sound crazy but here is what my mom did years ago (nearly 30 years ago) when I was in a wedding, mind you the dress was floor length. She made a 1/2 slip for it and then at the bottom she attached a hoop (similar to a hula hoop). It made it stand out.
I am going to throw out another crazy suggestion. If you have enough spare/scrap material, make yourself a twirl skirt but instead of the skirt having a hem, make it like you would a puffy curtain and stuff it with the Wal-Mart sacks. Does that make sense? I bet it would work.
I think I am so lazy that now that I am done with this, I am done. And thumbnails people!

LOL at the math comment. Math and I really get along so I would much rather use that than a pattern if I can. Oh, and I did an apple first and a Mickey head second!
Thanks, Deann! Oh, and be careful what you say, my dh packed his stuff last year, guess what he forgot? His underwear!!All he had was the pair on his hiney. And did you know there is almost no men's underwear to be bought in almost all of Disney World? We finally managed to find some and they didn't have his size
So we kept looking and ended buying just one pair for $25! Guess who had to handwash a pair every night for our whole trip?

1) I really did ok in math in school, but for some reason I have such problems when I am trying to figure something out when I am sewing!
2) You should have made him wash it, LOL!
