Yep that's grams she will be 89 in december and she is still working- She works for a costume company, and she sews & knits for all us grandkids & great grandkids in her "spare time"

has anyone made a twirl skirt out of flannel??? or doyou basically use flannel for PJs only? Right now in NE PA we are still in the 80sbut I know we WILL get cold weather and I want to make skirts that are more wintery (is that a word?). Would a flannel twirl look okay? or nah?

I was thinking of doing it myself. I have some really cute Monsters Inc flannel hat I want to use. It's too cute for just jammies! I can't see any reason it wouldn't work. I'm thinking you might not want to make it as full, becasue of the bulk of the flannel though. Anyone have some real experince with this though??
