We potty trained with the Belle dress. It was a last ditch effort and it worked!

We potty trained with an Aurora dress. And it still took her a couple of weeks before she decided she really wanted that dress! I was really worried I wouldn't get her trained before she started pre-school.

Ohhhhh, I'm noticing the lack of Boos!!!!! Here, instead of PMing each of you, feel free to take it from here! Happy Halloween!!!! The BOO Pumpkin is below in my signature! You can click on it)

You have been BOOed by Mickey's Halloween Helpers. To show others that you have been BOOed, add this BOO jumping pumpkin into your signature. Then, spread the fun by sending out this PM to two or more DISers who have yet to be BOOed. If they have the jumping pumpkin in their signature, they have already been BOOed. They can then say that they have been BOOed multiple times.

***This is just a fun way to spread the fun within the DIS community.

7 Easy Steps
Here are instructions for adding the pumpkin Mickey to your signature.
1. Right click on the pumpkin.
2. Select "Properties."
3. Highlight and then "copy" the address. This will start with http, and it has photobucket in it. It looks like the name of a website.
4. Go to User CP and select Edit Signature.
5. If you look above where the writing goes, you will find a small icon with a yellow mountain on it. Click on this.
6. "Paste" the address from Step 3. Click OK.
7. You will now see an IMG sign in your signature. When you save the changes, your signature will have a pumpkin Mickey bouncing in it. Enjoy.

Alexis looks precious in Ireland's costume!!!! You did an amazing job!   (Makes me want a GLOW drink and comfort food)

Just the fact that the apron is white, would guarantee my dd would shmutz some S'mores all over it. I'd have to bring Shout towelettes. My Norah's such a messy little princess.

I'm off to cut out and get started on this much dreaded witch slash ballerina costume. Mine's nearly done, so I'll post em when I'm done. I plan on taking my sweet time with what I have left to do!

TEN more days till the Utahans pass through the Arch of Wonder.

ONE day left of my 30's!!!!! Crap, I'm 40 tomorrow. What are these wrinkles doing showing up 1 day early???? Heh...:rolleyes1

Hope you have a great day. Just think what they say life begins at 40. Enjoy.

Finally...I got some photos taken of the Diner Costume. This is Irelands costume, but Alexis is wearing it. The pettiskirt cost only 14 dollars!! yea!!

Some things on the outfit that I wanted to point out.
I actually used piping on the hat and on the apron.
I also use duck cloth to give the apron a stiff shape.
I did cuffs on the sleeves for the first time. I even added a little button to the cuff.
The back of the shirt, has an iron on on Pop's Malt Shop, that I printed out on the computer, and the little cupcake on the Apron I bought from Michaels.
The glasses are from the costume shop, I just had to take out the lenses...LOL
I'm also going to add a name tag, and I'm going to find a smaller wig. This one, said it will fit children, but it's a little big.

Well done this is great. Did you say this is for Halloween. We do not really celebrate it much in Australia. We wont actually be there for it this year but will be in US for most of October and going to a MNSSHP so am looking forward to this with the kids. Again great job I love it.

:bday: Utahmom!

Hope you're having a great time celebrating!

I hit 40 in two years and I'm not nearly as stressed about that as I was about 30. That might have been because I still wasn't married, didn't have anything in the works, that changed faster than I expected. :rotfl:

Here's a :cake: with no calories!

Ok, I've seen a ton of December trips mentioned from us Disboutiquers. I know that it is early but I can't wait. Let's do what the Sept. people did and list.

MVMCP date: if you're going

I'll start.
Going - Dec. 11-17 :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
Staying - Polynesian
Kids - 8 (on 12-11) princess: , 6 (on 12-22) princess: , 4 (on 1-10) pirate:

We just found out on Monday that we are going in February (2008) and I know my 180 days is long past but I decided to try and make the reservations for CRT anyway and I was able to get them amazingly enough for breakfast. I am so excited!!!

I only wanted a few reservations since we were just there in April (2007) and this was a surprise trip - DH's company scheduled a sales meeting there at the Dolphin and the rest of us are going to tag along. I was able to get CRT breakfast, Crystal Palace for lunch, Mama Melrose for fantasmic, Chef Mickey's for breakfast and Askershus for lunch! Everything I wanted was available so I am so excited! Anyone else going in February? I guess I better get started on clothes for the trip!!!

We're going in February! The 14th - 20th. Over President's Day weekend. It's also TwirlMania. My niece twirls, so we're going to see her. It's also DD5's birthday on the 20th.

Help! My machine is not acting right. It is knocking loudly and not sewing right. I took apart the plate and brushed out the feed dogs and shuttle thing but it still doesn't sound right. Could either of these things cause this:

1) oil. I don't remember ever oiling it. Ack!
2) needle. It's been a long time since I changed the needle so I think I need to do that anyway.

Should I try these two things or does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks!

There seem to be a ton of us going at the same time!

Going: Dec 9-17
Staying: All Star Music - family suite!
Kids: Ella, 2 and Caleb, 4
MVMCP date: Dec. 11

This will be our first time to WDW! I think that Ella will have a custom for each day and Caleb will have several, but probably not one each day. Boy stuff is hard!

That sounds like such a great place to have a meeting!!! Are there other families going as well or are you guys the only lucky ones???

I was able to get ressies for every time I wanted except the Ohano breakfast. They were booked solid until 9:00. We are going to AK that day and wanted get breakfast earlier.

Can anyone tell me what the Little One's Extra Hours is?

My husband works for GE Healthcare division so I am assuming that there could be other families going. I know most of the people that he works with here locally have school age children so I'm not sure if they will take them out. The others don't have children so I don't know if there spouses will go with them. My parents are going to meet us there so I will have help Monday-Friday while my husband is in his meetings. We will be there the weekend before and the weekend after so he will get to spend some time in the parks with the girls. I'm so excited!!!

hi - hope you can see the outfits - but here they are!! they all worked out well - how do you keep the bows tied on the pillowcase dresses? that was the only difficulty i had with them - coming untied!! other than that they were so cute! minnie totally pointed out that they matched - even the 15 year old allowed me to do a little polka dotted ribbon on her jean shorts with black rick rack above and below it - and then when the little girls wore their princess skorts (skort from target with wide princess ribbon and pink frill stuff from walmart trim on the bottom edge) she had her long shorts trimmed with the pink frill - they were wearing coordinated princess shirts, but we got caught in a rainstorm, so we had to put on the shirts we were going to have autographed! oh well, at least it dried out!! all in all everyone looked great and i enjoyed making the outfits!!! thanks for all your hints, tips and suggestions!!~!
