Hi Everyone,

I loved the pictures on page 600 of the appliques that LisaZoe did of the princesses. Does anyone know where the pictures went? Just wondering, they were so beautiful! Thanks!

Sorry, I tend to clean out my photobucket account on a regular basis. As someone else mentioned, though, they should now be in the photobucket link that is available on the first post of this thread.

You FINISH your projects before you start another one?? WOW!!! I've never heard of such a thing!

This is foreign to me also!!! I have a bigger list of "things to finish" than I do of "things to do" :rotfl:

the_seamstress, I love the idea of turning shorts into bloomers!!! I am going to try that!

I bought Lydia and Arminda few pairs of Hanes shorts at Dollar Tree a few months ago. I wish I had bought more! They work great under their skirts and dresses.

While at WM today, I picked up three pair of shorts (pink, turq, purple) on clearance for $1. I'm gonna bloomerize them! ;) Maybe, if I figure out how!

In case you're new here, you should know that we like to copy each other and I'm so going to copy that outfit!!!!! Hope you don't mind! ;)

I love your skirts! And I agree with princess lovers mom that the Tink one would look great with a Tink ruffle! If you need any help making a ruffle, don't hesitate to ask on here!

Hey everyone... LOVE all the new things. I'm going to be brief -- I have a terrible double middle ear infection and am in quite a bit of pain. However .. I have been able to keep up with the board and I did manage to finish this outfit for DD's first day of kindergarten tomorrow.

Time for some pain medicine...

Is that black/white material on top cats? And the bottom material saying "meow"?

Cute dress!!!

Now I just bought tickets to Playhouse Disney in concert.. hmmmm custom outfits LOLOL.. and its On Thanksgiving Day!!!! So I can do overalls :) :) I will have to start in Sept when I get back from my trip.

2 days after than We are going to HSM on Ice.. than a month later hopefully Hannah Montana is concert ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have a Singer Esteem machine from Target. From what I can tell, the presser foot is the snap-on type. Do I have to buy only a Singer brand snap-on ruffler foot or will other brand snap-on feet work also? Thanks.

I have the same machine. I am using my Mom's ruffler from 1983. It has worked great and I love it! I feel like the ruffle queen! It is a no name ruffler.

And here are the matching bows for the Tink outfit.

I love the little maribou festhers she put on the one set, so cute :cloud9: .

Has anyone have experience making bows with 2 1/4 wide ribbon? I bought it that wide to embroider Cinderella on the ends. But I'm not sure how the bow part is going to work.

crap... I leave Monday for Florida

I could go for ya if you want me too so you can stay home and make some more customs !!! just kidding ! have a great trip:cloud9:

it can be very addicting here however...I just wrote a list out of all the additional ideas that I have and I really have only finished one of my planned items as it is...keeps us out of trouble....

Does anyone else dream about sewing?

I am so upset DD and I are going to NYC tomorrow. I really want to sew but I have to clean my house. My Dad will be here at 5:00 a.m. to watch the babes. The place is a wreck I cannot let him see it like this!

Are you going to the same show as me? I just bought today also but for Nov. 29 at Continental Airlines Arena which I thought was the week after Thanksgiving. Maybe we could meet up if we are at the same show!

ORGANIZATIONAL QUESTION:

ahemmm...... Sorry about the screaming... but now that I have your attention!!! LOL!!

Many , many moons ago, moons referring to pages of course, on this thread there were some wonderful posts about organizingn your sewing space . Someone wonderful made mini bolts of fabric and wrapped larger pieces of their fabrics around them.

Does anyone remember how big the bolts were? I believe the poster (was it the seamstress??) made those little tiny bolts? I think she posted that info, but I've been searching a long time and I can't find it.

Can anyone here help me out??

THANKS ALL!!

I CASED her idea and ran with it. Honestly, it sounds silly but it was life changing! I am so happy with all my supplies organized. I did not even know what I had! I took leftover priority mail boxes and cut them up. I measured the baskets I wanted to use and fit them to that size. They came out about 12" x 6". Here are my photos.

I also made trim mini bolts

Aimee- You're the BEST!!! I'm like you- I LOVED her ideas, I just forgot to book mark the page for when I was ready to get going on the organizing!!

Now... If I may- just one more question for you- where did you get those cute pink baskets??

Question for the people that made these or anybody for that matter.

I am wanting to make my DD a couple of outfits like these:

I can't just make something without a pattern and I was wondering if you thought this pattern would work.

I feel like I could shorten the bodice to more of an empire waist and then just do the skirt all kinds of different ways.

Does this pattern look similar to what you all use for those beautiful outfits?

Thanks!

I am not really sure how to quote.
Where did you find that High School Music fabric? My girls would just love it! We are having a High School Musical 2 sleepover friday night!:scared1:

I just used the bodice portion and then did the skirt on my own.
