I put the address in my siggy :-)

I will try to group them. Anyone can add if they want. the login is disboutique and the password is disboard (I think, I'll edit if not!)

I don't expect to have them all in till tomorrow so please be patient!:dance3:

Another big thank you to ObssessedwiththeMouse and ebay! When I saw this, I knew I had to try it so here is my Belle outfit. It's nowhere near as nice as the original but it only cost me a couple of dollars as opposed to a couple hundred dollars. :thumbsup2

Thank you so much for doing this, I bet it is hard work! I know we all appreciate it!

Well I had to go and make an apron top. I'm so pathetic. I used some old Mickey and Minnie dot fabric that I had laying around. I can't wait for my kids to get up, so I can try it on them. then if it fits right, I will copy it in the red and white dot. like the one listed..

It took me just under an hour... not too bad, but it definately needs some extra trim or maybe some of those Mickey head buttons...

Ok so I want to add rhinestones to one of dd's shirts. What is an easy way to do this? I haven't learned to sew yet so I need something easy. I did find out yesterday that a friend is going to lend me her sewing machine! She was going to put it in storage but said I can use it and be her storage instead!!! I just have no idea when I will get it.

Gorgeous I love it!

:rotfl: Girl, we have the same taste! I'm going to post the original (I only paid $150 for it---what a steal  ) Yours looks so similar! I like that your fabric is different. Ours will be worn over Christmas, so I like my corduroy material, but love your fabric for a regular trip!!

That was only $150? That is a steal! I bet it goes for double that today! Thanks for sharing the original. :worship: You have such great taste! What's next, I need more ideas? :hyper:

love that!! did you use the butterick pattern?

Lori

They have a pattern for this....oh my.... I didn't know. but no, I just drew it out on paper and cut it out... it wasn't too bad.:rotfl:

I like to use patterns for the first time for a creation and then just modify it or measure it out. I sometimes get scared to just cut the fabric without!

Does anyone know if we can post e-bay seller ID's? I know links to auctions are a no-no, but what about store names and seller ID's?!?!

I don't know if we're allowed or not, but I wouldn't, not without the seller's permission. You know they most likely wouldn't mind, but you never know. Some folks have been giving hints so someone can find the auction.

I pieced all of the appliques together except Belle. Originally, I tried to piece her but her face looked more like the "beast" than the "beauty". :scared1: I decided to give up on that and just so happen I found a pillow panel at Walmart. As far as the name, I printed that from Print Shop and appliqued it.

:rotfl:Too funny!

No embroiderer yet but I've found that I will need one for my princesses. Those faces are hard to do.

 I AGREE.....faces are hard when it comes to applique. How do you guys do them?????

I can't believe it. I just finished the most darling Minnie inspired top for my dd. It was absolutely stunning! The last step was to simply put a snap in it.

My DH has noticed my little sewing obsession lately and brought me home a new little gadget to feed my obsession--a snap plier tool kit (bless his heart--he wanted to do something nice). I'd always either sewed in my snaps or just done it the old fashioned way, but I wanted to give his little gift a try. So after giving it a few tries on scrap fabric, I was ready to try it on my darling little top. Well, it uses a soft rubber to hold the snap pieces into place which much to my distress shift when pressure is applied sending the snap prongs jutting out all over--ripping a HUGE dime-sized hole in my new top:eek: :sad1: I can't believe it. I'm so discouraged right now I could cry. It's beyond repair and I'm almost too discouraged to start it over again due to the bad memories. Maybe I'll remake the top after I've moved on to something else with better success. I just can't believe it, aside from the stupid snap, the top worked perfectly---130" of ruffle detailing and all. :sad2:

I'm so sorry that happened. That blows. I know it really makes you feel sick to you stomach. :sad1:

Here is tonight's project. I hand drew my applique's then mostly cut from fabric.. Tomorrow I need to do Lumiere for the back and then sew.. This is so fun!
