Hi ladies :flower3:, Here is my Snow White set. I had alot of fun making this one and it looks great on Destiny. I love the halter style top on her. I added the skirt but I'm not to crazy about it. Let me know what you think.

Oh my, that is too cute! You did such a great job! Did you piece all of the appliques yourself? I like the skirt with it.

Here's the first outfit I've done for DS. He'll be 2 when we go to WDW in February.

He just woke up from nap and didn't want his picture taken.

These are no sew!!!! Well at least for me... I got the applique off ebay.
Those are adorable! I love it:cool1:

CUTE!!!!! I LOVE IT!

I think all the girl outfits are adorable too, but I don't say much about them since I don't have a girl to sew for. :sad1: Doesn't mean I don't love them though! I just wish I had a little princess to sew for too. (not that I don't love my little prince to pieces though!! There just isn't as much cute stuff to do for boys)

Thanks everyone for the compliments.

The top was really easy once I figured out the measurements. I'm used to sewing with patterns so this was a challenge to me. So, after 2 botched halters, I finally got it right.

I pieced everything except Snow White. I cut her from a pillow panel I found at Walmart.

I really like the skirt! The jeans look fabulous!

And then did you just stitch around her for detail? It's beautiful - I love it with the skirt, and the jeans are precious, too. Do you ever sell your things on eBay? (oops....is eBay a bad word around here these days? :rotfl: )

I made this for my son yesterday
IMG_4847.jpg

I bought the purple fabric for DD and then when I went back a couple months later they had the coordinating Fabric so I got some of that yesterday.
IMG_4854.jpg

I got the BUzz fabric at Hobby Lobby and I am going to make another romper for my son
IMG_4852.jpg

JoAnn's had this adorable Mickey halloween print so I am going to make trick-or-treat bags for the kids out of it. Along with the Boo fabric. I wish we were going to the MNSSHP.
IMG_4851.jpg

I bought the swirly Mickey fabric at Joann's a couple months ago. So yesterday I went back to find another fabric to pair it with and tone down the bright green and they had this matching teal green with the Disney fabrics. They match perfectly. They had lots of solid colors to coordinate and they had some of that really big polka dot stuff with Mickey and Minnie.

IMG_4850.jpg

Lots of Sewing projects but I have to do housework because I am hosting a scrapbooking party tomorrow.

Love all the recent outfits! I don't have enough time to go back and respond directly.

Very cute!

Alright, I know this is gonna be a major repeat BUT I looked through Teresajoy's tips/techniques and what have you and tried to search the thread and I can't find any help w/ appliques. When I search it online I just get a bunch of flower appliques for quilting and stuff but I want to know how to make gorgeous appliques like the ones LadyRob used on the Snow White outfit. They look SOOO great. Can someone point me toward a tutorial or give me the rundown on the "how to" ? Thanks a bunch guys! And I was totally psyched to give you guys this twirly skirt tutorial I found but alas, when I was looking for applique stuff it was already in teresajoys links, bummer...I thought I was gonna be helpful:goodvibes

You cheater...LOL. I was like, wow, she totally did a great job, and I couldn't imagine how you got her done so perfectly. Especially the face.
I love it though, and I may have to borrrow:rolleyes1 your idea.
I have some little mermaid laying around here somewhere.

Yes, she was originally outlined in black and I covered those lines with the applique or zig-zag stitch. No, I don't sell on ebay.

:rotfl2: No, I don't sell on ebay. The sharks would be after me big time because everything I've made before this was a copy. I'm seriously thinking about it though. I've just got to come up with something original and fabulous! princess: Keep your eyes open!

This one is one of my new favs. I call the purple princess. I went crazy with the bling! I added crystals all over the patterned fabric. I also learned it is possible to put too much poof in the ruffles. :lmao: I had to put a rubberband around them to try and get them to lay down.:rotfl:

Wow! I LOVE this! Did you use a pattern? I love the crystals!! Great job! I loved the blue one, too but the thread moved before I responded. I am trying to stay off the computer and get some things done and I have no self control!
