Does anyone know if there is a pattern linked or tutorial posted for the twirl skirt that has all the vertical strips of fabric? I've been trying to look back and search, but I can't find it.
karrierock - that outfit is darling and I LOVE that fabric! The blue is beautiful.
I made one for Arminda, with a yoke at the top, but it is pretty simple. You take the hip measurement and triple it (you can add a few inches for seam allowances too if you want), then you divide the tripled number by how wide you want the strips to be, then cut them that width by whatever length (plus a bit for hem and elastic casing) you want them. Sew them all together, side by side, trim the bottoms to even up the hem, sew the side seam, then sew the hem and casing for your elastic. (this would not have the yoke at the top).
ETA:Wait, wait! I just realized that it was her hip measurement that I tripled, not her waist! I had forgotten about the whole yoke thing! So, triple the hip measurements to make it REALLY full!

We don't need to be part of the "yahoo clique"!
I didn't ask to be invited because I'm not real interested in buying or selling this stuff on ebay and I can't keep up with more messageboards!
Could you post your Ebay username, so I can check out your stuff? (Webmaster Doc said you can do that, and even include it in your signature if you want).
(Remember my daughter's name is Sailor) and Donald is a sailor. Does any one have a good pattern for one?
Yep, that was my talented sister (Teresajoy) who made the Bambi skirt!
Also the shirt my DS is wearing I made for him last year, it's all appliqued. No special shirt this year
I made myself a skirt to match DD (last year) I got a lot more comments on it this year over last.

I had to put a rubberband around them to try and get them to lay down.
