my kids are registered for the club and this is reflected in our cruise documents. What do we need to do at the port/upon getting on the ship.

Remember the 'secret word', Confirm/complete/make changes to the registration at youth activities and get the oceaneer bands.
Enjoy your cruise.

You can either complete registration in the cruise terminal or on board. If the line in the terminal is long and they are already boarding, just skip it and go once you get on board. When on board, if there's a long line at the Club, try the Lab. It tends to have shorter lines in general (this goes for pickup, too).

You can either get the kids club bands/complete the registration at the port or on the ship at the clubs themselves. I always scope out the line at port, if its busy I just wait till we get on the ship, if its short (and boarding hasn't begun yet anyway) then I'll do it at the port. It is a quick process, you just confirm your secret password and that your kids don't have any allergies/concerns the staff needs to know about and they put the magic bands on the kids.

Just to add our experience, we skipped the long line in the terminal & decided to register at the club. During open house, before the muster drill, it was insanely crowded. Registration was in the back in the lab. There were only 2 CM handling registration & it seemed that no one had registered on line. Everyone had questions and was filling out a paper form.

I waited almost 30 minutes before they had to send us out for the muster drill. Afterwards, we did registration for Edge & Vibe, quick and easy. We then headed back to Oceaneers. They sent us to the port adventures desk. There, they pulled up our info & had armbands on my kids in less than 3 minutes.

Hopefully our adventure saves someone a few minutes. My kids were not happy that they had to wait so long & wanted to explore during open house. If I had know that 30 minute wait would be for naught, I would have just let them explore & headed to the port adventure desk later.

I thought you were able to register your kids on line when you did your PIF? At least, that's what someone had told me some time ago.

At least on the classic ships, you can't register for youth activities at port adventures. But you can register at any point throughout the cruise so it doesn't have to be the first day if you're not planning on using it in the first evening.

You can, but you have to complete/verify the info and then the kids get the armbands. From what I saw, it is a very quick process when you have registered online. Both my kids had armbands in about 3 minutes when were able too.

I didn't think to mention the ship - we were on the Dream.
