Although I've stayed at RPR once before, I can't remember if there's a kids club - if so, what are your experiences, what is the cost and would you consider it to be OK for a child of 12?

I would like to eat at Tcoup Chop, but I wondered if this would be suitable for a child who only likes really plain food - plain burger, plain chicken, pizza and if not a kids club for a couple of hours might be good (if they provide dinner for the child)

I have one child that is not an adventurous eater at all. Tchoup Chop has a kids menu and it does have some very plain stuff. You can also tell one of your servers exactly what your child will eat and they will go above and beyond to make you happy.

This is off the website.

My son is not a fancy eater. Every time we have gone to Tchoup Chop he orders the kids Bam Burger (with sticky rice instead of fries - they are very accomodating there). We love Tcoup Chop. The Kids' Club is almost right next door to Tcoup Chop, but it always looked empty when we went by. DD11 and DS8 both feel they are too old for a Kid's Club. I would think he would feel way out of place there at 12. I think you're better off taking him with you.

i agree about not leaving your 12 year old at the kid's club. though my nephew who was 7 at the time loved it, it isn't much for the older kids to do. there are arts and crafts, movie corner, games and such but how long can a 12 year old play a board game as the others would be to juvenile for him/her. i think he would get bored about 10 minutes after you left him/her.

now anyone reading this for a child 8 and under i would say go for it. my nephew had a blast and begged me to let him stay when we came back to get him. there weren't any other kids scheduled to be left at his time since i took him right at 5:00 so that his older sister and i could hit the roller coasters so the woman running the club that night, brought her son along which worked out great for my nephew.

Does anyone know what the ages are for the Mariner's Club? I have a 7 year old DD and 1 year old DS. Thanks!!!
