Has anyone else gotten this offer through email? I haven't heard much about it on here. I got a pin, but I can't use it as the dates are only through May.

Doesn't that just KILL you! You wait all this time to get a code and when you get one, you can't use it! Good luck to you in getting another, more useful code!

I just booked the same promo I also got via email.
Staying 4/5-4/10 at allstar music. 2 adults, 2 children 4&6. my quoted rate is $1,587.66, including dining plan and daily tickets for all. I placed my deposit, and wondering how good of a deal is this?
Also, they offered to upgrade dining plan to the Deluxe for additional $400. any thoughts?
With little ones, I would not recommend going DDP--it allows for 3 TS meals. Not sure you want to be stuck in the restaurants 3 times a day--not that you have to do that with the plan, but for the cost, it is what makes the best sense.
It seemed like a good upgrade, for $400 more for all of us. the only 2 TS we are definately doing is the cinderella table. also, you get 2 snacks per person/day. Both my kids are very good eaters. Anyone else with families do the DDP?
We did the regular dining plan with 3 children (DS17, DD13, and DD10) a few years back and found that that to be more than enough food for all of us.
They were so full from eating just the two meals a day that we even had snack credits left by the end of the week. It was the first time, in 8 trips, that THEY were the ones saying "no" to the question "Do you want to get an ice cream?".
My 3 family did a week last year at the AKL and we had the regular DP. As mentioned above... we are all adult eaters and we were literally sick of eating by the end of that week... we had 8 snak credits left on our last day and bought mikey ice cream and passed it out at the pool for the lil tikes.
We eat like pigs all week and loved it...but remember it is time consuming, so unless you enjoy taking a couple hours out of your evening don't bother.
Also, remember that your resy for the days choice is locked in and wherever you are you have to watch the clock and get to that resy.
Whatever you decide you will love it.... it's great.
Well, it depends a lot on how many days you stay. The savings add up on shorter stays than longer ones, since the per day ticket addon gets smaller and smaller.
For example, 6 days would roughly equal to $250 per kid. But 7 days would be just an extra $13 or so ($10 for the meal plan, $3 for the extra day). However, the room cost difference from a value to a mod, is usually about $50-$100...
