I have to agree on the mugs, all the Villa mugs are so small, you're constantly refilling it! I have a mug in my OL.
As far as the super drug, about 15 years ago they started releasing these new arthritis drugs. She has taken just about all of them, but basically they control the arthritis by supressing the immune system. The latest drug, Actemera, supresses the il6 (interluken 6), which unfortunately is required for the sores on her leg to heal. So right now she is taking a drug that has been used for over 70 years. The problem is that it is for mild to moderate cases, and she is severe. So we must wait until she is completely healed before she can go back to the super drug.
I agree, the villa mugs are tiny. Do the DVC resorts use filters of coffee pods?

You won't, unless you want to give up your park day, or most of it. The reality is moving resorts easily loses an hour, and up to 3 depending on how you do it. By the time you pack up, get stuff to bell services, even if you go straight to a park you still have to then check in at the new resort and get settled so the whole process is an hour at least, on the very short side. I find when we move resorts we end up with at best a half day to play and the rest is moving, eating and getting settled.
You're right! Jenna is sweet enough to offer but there are 5 of them so their list will be über long too. We weren't all planning on going. We were going to send the men while we swim with the kids. We're givers like that.

you might want to tell her to hold off as you are considering some changes so she doesn't actually purchase anything. But yeah, utnil you get an invoice you aren't really obligated.
We figured it out. I used my Disney 25% off with free shipping and am having most things shipped to her. She's buying the coffee mugs and sketch pads. I'm sending her, from here, the colored pencils. She's going to combine it all into one big basket and deliver it to AoA on our first night. I just have to have it arrive on the first night. I'm a dork like that. Bell services will only have to deal with a little in the morning as we're having our actual luggage sent to the THV so we don't have to deal with even looking at it for a night. That'll save me tipping twice too. Speaking of tipping.....do you tip the guy who delivers the bags or takes the bags? I always tip the deliverer $1 per bag and give the guy who takes a little less.
Seems to me at most with what you describe you've got $100 worth of items. Even if you bought it all separately and shipped it directly to the resort it'd be less than what she is quoting. I'd probably try to go that route if you can find everything you want online. You can pack wrapping supplies, I did that in 2009 lol.
I agree, nothing like coffee out of a real mug. I love the ceremony of it. It just feels right!
Betsy charges heavy for delivery. Like $40 for the delivery, the basket, and wrapping. I'm getting a Lady mug and DH is getting a firefighter Mickey mug. His broke his last year so he'll be so happy. He loved that mug.

nah, not really, just giving you a hard time! Here's what I'd do.
Mock up the order using garden grocer, it will give you a good feel for your total cost. Kelly, with her service fee comes in about the same it's just far more personalized with brands, sizes etc. You might find things you can tweak or change. If it helps, here is my list, I paid $166.
Good idea! Does GG give you an actual quote or do you just use their list? Kelly uses Publix and Target. I find Target here is very expensive for groceries. I'm sure she'll get my cake from Publix. I hear they have a wonderful bakery.

Thank you for mentioning plastic and the 3 in 1 sheets. I've never even seen or heard of them. I didn't even think about glass being heavy and it could easily break.

and order, or buy these as they are breakable or perishable. Since you don't need meat the first night, is there another day Jenna could run you to the store? So for example if you got everything but meat and beer though Kelly, that might get the $$ down to a reasonable amount for delivery and let you pick what you want on those items but still get the bulk of the food there your first full day to make for a nice first THV morning.
That's a good idea. You know how time seems to get away from you on vacation? You wake up one day and you're on day 7 some how? That always happens to us. I'm sure Jenna would take us any day we want, she's so sweet, but I always find a it headache to leave and come back blah blah blah. I'm not into wasting money but sometimes convenience pays. Plus, here's where a little of the control freak in me rears it's ugly, mostly hidden head: I don't like to be tied to anyone's else's time schedule. You doing the Photopass is great but when it comes to my actual time, I'm a freak.

I should have the cake info at home. I "think" $75 plus service and delivery. Not cheap. But it was split between 5 of us so not bad and totally worth it.
The cake is phenomenal. I bet she was so surprised too.
I hate my lists and need to make them again with specifics.

With all that food did you folks eat all your meals in the villa? I'm guessing you had a lot of kids with you with all the peanut butter and jelly and loaves of bread.
I think you might be looking at mine and Cynthia's lists as one. I need to add lunch meat and sliced cheese to mine. Between sandwiches and French toast, 2 loaves doesn't seem like a ton for 6 people for 11 days. We'll eat most breakfasts in the room and we love to munch by the pool.
The only problem I have with ordering groceries is that I am so picky about the fresh food that we get.

Well I went overboard, I imagine there is a happy medium somewhere
Our list was the first one only. We ate 5 breakfasts in the room, 2 dinners and 3 lunches over the course of our 11 night trip but we also had one smaller additional grocery trip and one small "filler" run to the DVC store at Vero. I will say that list lasted us longer than I was expecting but we bought a couple more meals than planned too which changed things a bit.
I hear you there, it's why I was so specific on certain items.
I'm totally copying you. We'll be about the same over our 11 days.
I guess you would have to be specific.
That's on my to do list today is to look at GG and make a mock list from them. I just wish I could find what Publix sells. Their site only gives like cake and deli specials. Wonder if I could call and get something faxed?
Sorry it's taken me so long to respond. Gabby got asked to a rival school's homecoming last night which sparked a slew of texts and calls and even FB messages to me about taking her to her own school's homecoming. I posted her one pic on FB. They get into it here. In my day, we got asked without any bells and whistles, rented a limo, and got buzzed on Boone's Farm.

I'm just wondering how Gab knows so many boys from a rival school? She hasn't even started high school and doesn't until Monday.
