That sounds heavenly. I laugh at my So Cal friends who are miffed with the warm weather. I tell them on my FB: there is a beach. Go to it. ;)

How is Disneyland's F&W? I haven't read too much about it.

The Wonder will be a fabulous vacation and with as much or as little rest as you want. :thumbsup2 I'm so excited for you guys. Where the Wonder travel to?

Mmmm....crab dip. :cloud9: I'm ordering some hotdogs and brats for lunch by the pool one day. I think AKV and there's a grill nearby. :thumbsup2 There is something about grilled hotdogs by the pool. I love it.

In 2007 we gave bell services our leftover beer. We had leftover beer. We alos had limes with unopened chips and salsa. They weren't too upset.

Do it!!! Get a couple's trip on paper and then go to Disneyland. It's just a timing issue. ;) The couple's trip can be planned before but take place after. :woohoo: Jenna and her family are thinking of coming out next June which means we'll do Disneyland for sure. I'm going to look into the GCV at the 7 month mark as soon as she decides her dates. :ssst:

Have you to been either?

 Hola amiga, que pasa?

Too much! But I am slogging around like I am running a marathon in cement sneakers in about 2 feet of water.

How are you?

Everything on Michele? How's Kacy's job hunt going? How is Scotty feeling?

Sigh, no job. I have come to the conclusion she isn't looking anymore. Scotty is better today, after several hours in the ER yesterday evening. He still has an extremely low energy level and they aren't sure why. Until he sees a urologist about his high PSA I think that he will continue to feel bad. The mind is an amazing thing.

Bummer on the job front but doesn't school start soon? That should keep her busy.

Is Scotty in good shape? Michael was feeling the same way; low energy, heart pains, generally yuck. After some tests they concluded that he had an intercostal strain in his ribcage. It mimics a heart attack and he gets it all the time. It's typical in athletes. Just wondering because I know Scotty bikes alot.

She has been back in school for a while. She needs the job for money and maturity. I think that she needs to start buying herself the little luxuries that she wants because I have stopped buying her the fancy coffee she wants.

Yeah, Scotty keeps himself in pretty good shape. He doesn't have the stamina to ride the distances he used to. It is all pretty scary. He also has had two consecutive high PSA tests so we are waiting on the urologist. So we play the waiting game.

The waiting is so hard. :goodvibes Try not to worry. I know it's easier said than done.

I didn't realize she was back in school. I think it's smart to learn those skills early on. :thumbsup2

42 days and Happy Saturday everyone!

At Joshua's soccer tournament, then lunch with DH at our new Buffalo Wild Wings. After that Gabby and I are going dress shopping for Homecoming. She's picky and I hate shopping so wish us luck. :lmao:

My grocery list is pretty solid, I've made some significant changes. :hyper: Hoping my Disney stuff arrives to Betsy soon. I need to send the 50 pack of Crayola colored pencils with the sharpener so she can include it in the basket.

I've got a Kona Cafe reservation on our last full MK day. I'm wondering if I should also book Tony's in case we don't want to leave? If we keep 'Ohana then we'll still get our Poly visit. I love the Poly. If they ever build DVC, we'll add on for sure. I love their gift shop too!

Sorry for any typos, I'm doing this from my phone. :teeth:

The waiting is hard. We have been dealing with the high PSA readings for a month and waiting for a urologist to get a hold of us. Now this. I am frustrated.

Ugh, dress shopping. Better you than me. I dread shopping with any of my kids.

What does an elevated PSA reading indicate? Whose your insurance? Do you have to get a referral for the Urologist?

I'm not a shopper either but it was really fun! She tried on a bunch of them. Watching her grow up is such a trip. She chose a gorgeous dress too. I'm really excited for her.

High PSA is prostate related. It is an indicater of possible cancer. We have Kaiser so we are waiting on a referral. The problem is there is only one Urologist in our region. I was told by the ER Dr that the PSA test is not accurate while this is true he had two that were high. The second one being even higher. So we wait.

Kody is fun to shop with. She loves to just go and try things on. Kacy only goes when she needs something and complains that the things she picks out that are too small don't fit. That is not fun. Loren will not try a thing on. Scotty tries everything on in every store then we always go back to the first store.

Just playing on my phone!!

Oh wow, that's scary. Why does it take so long to get a referral? I'm not the biggest fan of Kaiser. My dad had Kaiser in So Cal when he suffered his life altering stroke. Without going into too much detail, I think they gave me poor advice.

My kids aren't bad shoppers. Gabby lives everything. Chloe dislikes everything. Joshua doesn't care. :rotfl2:

My mom is joining me. I cannot wait!
Obviously I have no ADRs plannined :lmao:
Now we can countdown together! :yay:

Did you finalize your grocery order?

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: I'll pencil you in girl! I'm so excited to meet you. And your mom. :teeth: I am about ready to finalize it. Im getting $200 from GG and the rest from Kelly which is also close to $200. I'm so ridiculous.

We arrive on the same day. What time do you land?

Thankfully Kaiser No Cal is different, and is considered the number one HMO in the country. The reason for the wait is there is only one Urologist in our region. So his Dr has now sent two messages to the Urologist so I am hoping they will get this under control. Kaiser like any other hospital or HMO has it's lemon. Scotty and I had a different Primary Care Dr and I dropped him when he misdiagnosed me. Scotty stayed because like a lot of Drs he received better care there. But after I almost died from said misdiagnoses Scotty changed to a wonderful woman Dr.

Boys are so funny. You can bring them home things and they will just wear them.

I'm glad kaiser up north is better than the so cal version. :goodvibes Sending good vibes for good news. Please keep us posted. I hope the referral comes soon.

Boys are funny, easy. Well, he's easy with everything but he's a freak about his hair.

I'm bidding on eBay pins for the kids to trade. Pin trading must have lost some popularity. These things are cheap. I'm paying less than $1 per on. I won 25 for $16.00 with free shipping. :woohoo: I'm bidding on another 25 now with a high bid of $15. And another for $12.

My dad had a heart condition and he had a heart attack in San Diego when he was there for work. Boy what a difference between the Kaisers. I will keep you posted.

Loren has started shaving his hair. I wanted to cry he has beautiful hair and he was wearing it long. One day he asked Scotty to help him shave his head. I cannot get used to it at all.

Be careful with the pins on ebay. There are a lot of fake ones out there.

Dress shopping sounds like a blast, that's very cool...but bittersweet at the same time I imagine. How is the tournament going?

ITA on the pins, be careful. My kids are just starting to figure out the whole scrapper thing, it's hard to know on ebay and frankly gave me a little bit of a headache to try and figure out but generally speaking if you are buying lots of pins at $1 each...they are fake. And the kids may not care and they are tradeable but as I've learned more I do try to avoid chancing scrappers (fakes) as much as I can. It's almost impossible to completely avoid unless you buy rack pins on a card which...you could do there.

I've bought from the same 3 sellers for the last 5 years so I'm confident with what I'm purchasing but thanks for the heads up. :goodvibes We've never had an issue with fakes. :thumbsup2 My kids have 2 Lana's each. One is full of pins they won't trade and the other is full of eBay pins- the ones they trade. It's worked out great every trip. I have read bad stories about buying junk pins but we've been lucky...knock on wood. These sellers all have 99+ postitive ratings and ship for free.

Cynthia, the dress shopping is so bittersweet. She needs. Big chunky ring and shoes and were done. She's going to answer him tonight. I'll post pics later.

Joshua's team has won 3 out of 3 games, two of which were shut outs. He plays center mid. Hes very happy with his playing this tournament. The championship game is tomorrow at noon. He's already hydrating and eating no grease. ;) He's a little obsessed with soccer.

Michele, hope Scotty is feeling better and you get some answers soon. I remember when Joshua cut all of his long hair. It made me sad too. He's growing it out again in a shag and it looks fantastic. The girls, of course, talked bin into having One Direction hair.

School starts Tuesday and I've emailed all of the kids' teachers with the days they'll be missing. So far I've had 3 responses from 17 people, all positive. I think the YES class combined with the reason for the trip, Chloe's bat mitzvah gift, is making it more positive than I anticipated.....so far anyway.

I managed to make Scotty an appointment for Tuesday morning. Hopefully she figures something out. I want my husband back.

I'm so glad you are getting in Tuesday! :goodvibes That's terrific! Maybe it'll be a simple thyroid or stress related issue. The body does wacky things. Sending positive vibes.

Anyone here know about tipping Mousekeeping with DVC? We'll have the 4th day T&T service and then check out the 6th day. How much do I tip and when? :confused3
