A trip change? What kind of change? Don't leave me hanging!!! And a chain reaction if change? :rotfl2: You're killing me!

A good team manager is worth their weight in gold that's for sure. :thumbsup2 Joshua is moving teams and clubs and I don't want anything to do with team manager. I want to write my check and support my child but want none of the political garbage that comes with comp soccer. It's nuts people. Parents are insane! :scared:

Just updated the PTR, check it out. Warning, you might need these :3dglasses

LOL on the check, that's been a bit of our attitude the last few years, I really don't know any of the parents on her (now) old club, in some very selfish ways I'm thrilled she's going back as I know and "get" this group at least. Or at least most of them.

:rotfl:

Parents on the other team were dissing your coaches?????????????? :scared1:

Yay for booking your flights and saving money!

Thank you. I'm excited for the Beast's Castle. Is Ariel's set to be a ride? I think a mine train sounds fun but I do love Snow White. Wonder if she'll be a part of the ride? Wow as far as size. What's the completion date?

Ariel's will have the same ride that is in DCA. The Beasts castle will be dark with a big TS restaurant in it. Gaston will also have a CS Tavern. They did say Snow White would make a cameo.

I'm not very familiar with WDW, we've only been twice, once in 2007 and then in 2009. I'm a newbie. :p I can't even picture this.

I'm not exactly sure either. I poked around looming for maps, but no luck. I I get some time at home on the computer, I'll see if I cam find something.

So the local APs went up too? How much did they go up? Very interesting. And the economy is hurting? :confused3 I know people are tight but someone is spending that's for sure. With Carsland and less DCA dead space, hopefully they'll make it more than a 3/4 days park. :thumbsup2

Evidently of the 1,000,000+ AP holders a third have PAPs which include parking. When they built the structure and DCA, they never expected people to arrive two to a car which is what PAPs do. This summer they are going to have to shuttle CMs from Angel stadium and the Honda Center because they will have to park guests in the CM lots.

Bat mitzvah is in 5 days! Panic has taken over!

It will be great!

Gabby's old team played Avalance two summers ago. The refs were horrible. Gabby's coaches are gay and the refs called our coaches terrible names :furious: I wrote letter after letter to only get some generic *we'll speak to the refs* response. Total garbage. Its a beautiful backdrop and amazing place to play but by far the least of my favorite tourneys. It's good though she can travel with her team. I wish mine did a little more traveling ing. That tournament experience is so fun for them, like the cherry on the sundae.

This is just wrong! I guess there are reasons we still need to be out there participating in parades showing there are all types. Not just all freaks and Drag queens. Even though the people who need to be educated would never be there, at least some normal people are involved.

It was truly the most disgusting display I've personally ever seen. Yes, the parents were horrible too.

Ooooo......I'm excited for your update. popcorn:: And I love needing :3dglasses

Yay for booking flights!!!:yay:
How is your week going so far?

I'm so happy! :woohoo: I would have liked to have landed sooner but with the price bouncing up and down and the earlier flight so much more, I needed to decide.

My week is insane. I'm an anxious mess. :hyper:

I can't believe there are that many PAP holders! I mean I can but wow! If we were local we'd have them too. Heck we've had them while we lived here. And they're going to have to shuttle people in? People are obviously still enjoying Disneyland despite the economy etc....

Thanks for the FL info. I'm excited that there honoring B&TB, like that new-to-me acronym? Its one of my favorites and seems to be very popular. I think it will attract boys and girls. And Gaston? Love him and excited to visit the tavern but no booze, right?

I think you'd be interested in Gabby's d'var Torah from last year. If you'd like to check it out, PM me your email and I'll send it to you. :goodvibes I promise, it's not super G-dy. :lmao: A d'var Torah is a call to action and hers was about human dignity, specifically gay rights and the right to love who we choose. I won't say more as both subjects are off limits but its a great read. Her coaches cried. She worked her guts out challenging the bible and all. Proud mama moment for me. :teeth:

Back to Disney, magical, wonderful Disney. pixiedust:

I'm going to have to use you as a reference in a few years when we have our 1st bar mitzvah! :thumbsup2
Glad that Chloe is calm. That's the most important thing!

I agree. She's starting to feel my anxiety so I've got to keep it in check. :hyper:

I've got so many notes, I'll be happy to share. :goodvibes

The fact that Joshua's is October 2013 solidifies the fact that we are, indeed, insane.

Have a great weekend everyone. I'll be around today but not much after that until after the weekend. :grouphug:

:goofy: 143 days until WDW!!! :goofy:

Ugh, I've seen some bad parent behavior over the years but that's horrible. I hope their experience isn't anything like that. We will not be going, I seriously doubt her mom is going either. Sounds like they still need chaperones so at this point I'm not sure WHO is going. LOL!

Tickets are $521 EACH :scared1:

She did roll her ankle on Sat so part of me wonders if she should/will sit this one out...it will be interesting to see what her mom says about it. I'm positive she won't go, wouldn't be able to get it off work anyway I don't think.

Jeff missed the meeting, too proud to ask his ex for the address, assumed we had it from an old roster and well...we did...but...looks like the family has MOVED since then. :rotfl:

Good news is that the ex at least put down Jeff's email so he got flight info and tournament times this am and I jumped on it and got myself added to the list, as well as our contact info for the roster and asked for anything last night to be emailed to me. Heard back from the new manager and should see it all tonight so at least we won't be dependent on getting it from the ex. With Avalanche falling on our weekend, it could literally be a MONTH before she gives us anything...assuming K goes to Avalanche.

Have a GREAT weekend!!!!!!

I think So Cal residents view DL passes as a good form of inexpensive entertainment because once you've paid the initial investment you aren't REQUIRED to spend additional money. A year of park visits is good fun for the family and there are so many people within an hours drive, not to mention two hours they can get their money out of it.

Yeah no booze at Gaston's, but it will still be nice we're looking forward to eating at both places. The entrance to the castle sounds really neat, it's part character meet and part walk through experience.

Sometime it would be nice to read her writing, but you're pretty busy right now. At your convenience.

So horrible about the coaches and parents. So not right I would love to read Gabby's paper if you don't mind sending it on to me, but only when you have the time. I know you are busy with right now.

Woo hoo for buying your tickets! I can't wait to see your AOA pictures.

Is that airfare that's $521? That's insane!!! Add on the fees and forget it! And hotel. Do you guys pay for your coaches travel too? In Joshua's new club we will, in Gabby's old one we did but this club we don't.

I think Gaston's will be great, hoping for hearty pub type food too. Even without the beer. :sad2: ;) I wish they'd give some solid info on Be Our Guest. I'd cancel 'Ohana for Be Our Guest for dinner.

I'm excited for AoA and I'll take a ton of pics. :thumbsup2 wish we were coming Ina. Little earlier but oh we'll. I'm a morning person and will check it all out before we move to the THV.

After this weekend, I'll send out Gabby's d'var. It's not long at all, maybe 4 pages but compelling and beautiful. :goodvibes

:goofy: 142 days until WDW!!! :goofy:

Small break form the bazillion chores we've been doing today. Back to the grind. :hyper:

hotel and food are in team fees, coaches travel in club fees but airfare is separate. The full total amount is pretty ugly

You're gonna have to start a new PTR thread soon! I just noticed you're nearing the 250 page mark LOL

Is today the big day? I hope you're having a wonderful time!

:grouphug: Sorry I've been MIA. Chloe's bat mitzvah was a huge success. She did beautifully and we couldn't be more proud. Of course, DH has the camera with him in Africa and I didn't get a chance to upload them before he left so it will be a good 2 weeks before I can link you guys here. If your my FB friend, my friend posted an album from the ones she took to my wall. They aren't professional by any means but love that she took them and posted them.

My last guest left today and Chloe's BFF came back from having to leave the day after the bat mitzvah. She'll be here until June 11 so Chloe is elated. :thumbsup2

3 more days of school!! :woohoo:

I'll catch up on the trip planning soon.

Hope everyone is having a good week and had a nice holiday weekend. :goodvibes

:donald: 137 days until WDW!!! :donald:

Glad to hear that the bat mitzvah was a great success!!!! Rest up, there's plenty of time to plan the trip.

Thanks Alison. I like the planning though. What I should be researching is Lake Powell and beach tent camping. :scared1:

How's Fran feeling? How's life?

How's Fran feeling? How's life?

She is starting to recover more quickly now so hopefully we can have this chapter behind us fairly soon.

She's thinkin' real crazy right now. Within the next week we are are supposed to get some money, and she's talking about buying a ridiculous car. There are two for sale, one in Vegas and one in Lexington KY. She wants to go take them for a test drive. That's a $1500+ test drive in KY!

:rotfl2: Test drive in Kentucky? Must be a helluva car! Testing in Vegas is a win-win. Not sure what there is to do in Kentucky though I'm sure there will be some good dining.

How did she find said car in Kentucky? I'm guessing online. I have a coworker whose dad buys cars from eBay, no test drive, just bids and buys. He's never bought a lemon but I can't imagine.

Sounds like she's on the mend which is the best news. :goodvibes
