This is the one adr that I don't really care if we don't make it. My dh is the one that really wants to eat there. I think the atmosphere sounds neat but other than the burgers. I haven't heard that many great things about it.

The night we had set for Sci-Fi I stayed back with gab as she was copping major attitude. Michael, Chloe, and Joshua really liked it though.

I should have added that if we are in MK during the day than I do plan on staying for wishes. I am going over on our first park day because well who doesn't want to go MK on their first day.

That was something my dh and I both agreed on. We both wanted days to just be able to sleep in and swim (if it is warm enough), go to DTD, resort hop, go over to Fort Wilderness and see the horses. Lexi is really into animals and I know she will love that.

Awesome! I am sure it will be warm enough. The pools are heated too. My wacky kids swam at the POR during a huge rainstorm.

Don't forget the AKL for animal gazing too.

I agree with you. I really didn't want to do DHS 2 days in a row. I think I scheduled it that way because of..... something but I can't remember right now.

I did request the 50's since that is where Lady and the Tramp are. However they don't take requests anymore. They make a "note" of it but a computer assigns rooms now and it doesn't "read" requests. You have to ask when you check in.

I just wish I could remember why I thought I had to plan it that way. I do know that the day our Le Cell is scheduled was the only day I could get it. I made our ADR's the first week of Dec. so I was happy I could even get a ressie.

That's going to be a great trip. How many days are you doing Universal? I haven't read much about Happy Potter Land (not sure if that's even the name). When do your APs expire? Think you'll renew?




2012. Orginally the plan was Dec 2011 because Hanukkah, Chloe's bday, and Chrstmas is all the same week so I thought it would be fabulous to spend all 3 at WDW. Still think it's a great idea however our wallet does not. With Gab's bat mitzvah this April and Chloe's next May plus Gabby's bat mitzvah gift of a week in So Cal (shopping/beach no Disney) this May we just can't do WDW too. Chloe gets her braces next month and those are $$$ too.

I am broke just thinking about it. It's all good really and we are blessed I know. But truth be told, I don't love the idea of waiting until late 2012. It will be a mega trip and points won't be an issue. Plus it will be Halloween and F&W which are both huge selling points to Chloe. Love that kid.

I am so un-versed with Universal! Michael wants to visit Universal but I am not sure I could miss a day of Disney. Maybe I will hit the spa at the SSR while Michael takes the kids.

Insurance is paying $1,500 of the $4,400 so that leaves $2,900. He is willing to take monthly payments sans interest.

It is amazing and had changed a ton with the movie additions. So fun! It's really like your first time too.


At this point the plan is to arrive Sunday October 14 and leave Friday the 26th. During those 13 days the rough plan is to have 8 park days, a water park day, 2 days of golf for DH, spa day for me, and some pool time. We are definetly not going commando this trip. We really want to enjoy our DVC.

It sounds like it will be a nice relaxing trip. I am remember when you said you were going to to do only 2 or 3 park days and then take a break. That is why I planed my days the way I did.
