I totally agree and that's why I always feel so rushed at Disneyland; our trips there are simply shorter. I am slowly learning to chill and enjoy the entire process.




I hadn't thought about weather issues with regard to going in December. That makes missing this December a little less painful.



At this point no but we don't tend to plan Disneyland as far out as WDW as it's much closer and less $$. The bummer is booking into the GCV. In retro, I wish we would have bought 100 pts at GCV and 100 at SSR to be able to book GCV at 11 months. That's where we'll add on when we add on.

I am going to So Cal for my bday to visit my BFF in March. My other friend's hubby works for Disney so our last trip she got us 3 of us in for free the whole time which was fabulous! If we decide to do a day, she'll just sign us in. I truly doubt we'll go ad this is more of a trip. but never say never.


I still need to start that trip report.

Are you still considering THV? I REALLY want to stay in a treehouse. Unfortunately, I can't I've had some severe sinus issues lately and had allergy testing last week. I'm allergic to practically every tree on the planet. From the photos, it seems like the THV are SURROUNDED by trees. It would be an allergic nightmare for me. I can kiss my wish to stay at a FW cabin goodbye! My doctor suggested I move to Arizona

My BFF doesn't love or even like Disneyland all that much so we'll see. As of now we fly in Saturday night and the plan to do some bday celebrating. On Sunday we'll nurse our hangovers at the beach (weather permitting) and that just leaves Monday. I would love to go personally. My friend who is married to the Disney employee loves it like we all do so she'd go for sure.

We are. We are going to book half THV/SSR and then change at 7 months if we want. We'll be in a 2 bedroom the entire trip just not sure where. I mean, we know DH needs to stay SSR but the half is still up in the air.

How about BCV for the second part of your stay? You'd have access to SAB, which would make resort time so nice. Plus walking or boating to Epcot and DHS is GREAT!

Not a huge fan however BWV are in the running. I love the theme and their points are fairly low. Good thing about putting off this years trip: I won't have to borrow for our 2012 trip.

I hear ya! With 5 of us I see nothing less than 2 bedroom even though legally we can do a one bedroom.

Haven't stayed at the VWL but Jenna has. The first time we met was at WDW and they were staying there so we went to their villa and had drinks. It's cool but the rooms are a little dated. The hotel though is gorgeous and the pool areas have these beautiful water falls. Jenna had some wedding photos taken there I believe, maybe she'll share them
