Hope nutso in a good busy way.

I have a mini-update. Looks like the BCV with Keith is out. He wants to do the DDP and we don't. It is just not a good value for us for several reasons those being:

  • we share :thumbsup2
  • we love appetizers :lovestruc
  • we love booze :cloud9:
  • we are not huge on desserts and definetly not one per person :scared:

That doesn't mean the BCV isn't on the table but it jumped in priority for our friend. He will still be there but most likely in a Studio.

Such a pretty picture.

It has been crazy drama. I don't know if I told you WBG had a pretty serious bicycle accident on August 14th. He is still having dizzy spells. And Loren's surgery is in one week from today. I did happily find out today that his surgery because it is out patient surgery is only going to cost $25, thank goodness for good health insurance. And the normal back to school trauma. You know how kids are. All in all I still think I am blessed.

:sad1:  Oh my, I had no idea. What happened? I didn't know Loren's surgery was so close either. You have had your hands full. I love your outlook. I am sending healing vibes your family's way. Keep me posted on the surgery please.

WBG was coming home from a solo training ride and he was going 44.1 mph downhill. He had a blowout in his front tire, he flipped several times and ended up passed out in the middle of a dead end of a road. A couple of angels spotted him lying on the ground while driving on the freeway next to the frontage rd. Thankfully he had his road id on it with his emergency information. They called me and I got him to the hospital. He looked like a zombie. His major concern? Did I get his bike? Oh yeah fun life.

Loren's surgery is a good thing. The only downfall I can see is that he is not allowed to do pe or play sports from 9/21-12/5. He is going to go nuts.

And my attitude, I am a firm believer that if I am given lemons I am going to make lemonade. We have lots of it right now.:rotfl:

:faint: Holy Hannah! Has he got back on his bike? I would be scared to death!

:goodvibes How will he refrain? Do you have an X Box or Wii? :rotfl: What kind of surgery?

 I like the saying: if life give your lemons, ask for tequila and salt. Or vodka and sugar. Any booze will do!

Yeah, he has ridden it a few times. Not as much as normal. The first time he rode it I was scared to death.

I know can you imagine. Thankfully it is better because the weather is going to turn towards rain and such. We have a Wii and a PS2 he is set for games. He is getting the tumor removed and they are going to biopsy it even though the dr's are convinced that it is not cancerous.

I like that. I am thinking that the vodka and sugar sounds good.:goodvibes

:goodvibes I am sending you, Loren, and the rest of your family some pixiedust for all of the stress you've been going through. Also good luck to Loren on the surgery. When it rains it pours, no?! I like the vodka/sugar idea too. Forget lemonade! ;)

Hi Jenny! Wow it's been a crazy couple of weeks and I haven't had a chance to get on here very often! Traveling for work and trying to get my mom-in-law back on the upswing! Love this picture! How goes it? Big plans for the weekend?

:goodvibes How is she feeling? Have to traveled to anywhere fun?

Yom Kippur starts tonight at sundown and is one of the most holy of the Jewish holidays hence the term High Holidays so we'll actually be in services tonight for Kol Nidre and then all day tomorrow for Yom Kippur.
http://www.jewfaq.org/holiday4.htm Tonight we will pig out, haha, as tomorrow we fast until sundown when we will have a Break the Fast feast. Gab has a soccer game tomorrow in between services so that should be fun to navigate on an empty stomach.

How about you, anything fun planned?

your babies are so little!!:goodvibes

:sad1: I know and it goes by so fast! How have you been? How's life?

She's feeling better and starting to walk alittle further every couple of days. She starts physical therapy next week so there's no where to go but up from here. Thanks for asking! I've been to Canada and Chicago - getting ready for my whirlwind starting on the 25th. I can't believe I'm on 14 days away from Disneyland! You did get me to make a decision for my far away 2012 trip - I'm booking 3 studios at Animal Kingdom at 11 mos and then at 7 I'll try for the Grand Villa at OKW.

Nothing very fun planned - since I've been traveling and stuff I have a ton or laundry, etc. Then on Sunday a birthday dinner for my nephew who just turned 21 (the one we're taking to DL) and thats it.

Have a blessed Yom Kippur and good luck at Gab's soccer game tommorrow!

:thumbsup2 I am glad she's healing.

Canada and Chicago? :faint: You are so busy. I cannot believe your trip is in 2 weeks!!! :woohoo: You are going to love Disneyland and the GCV. And the Halloween decor and fireworks are awesome! We went last October and although the winter holidays are my favorite time at Disney, this time of the year is a close second.

That sounds nice and relaxing especially after the past month you have had.

Have a blessed Yom Kippur and good luck at Gab's soccer game tommorrow!

:thanks: :goodvibes

Great photo!

Michelle likes to check out the clothes there too.

I would have to say, it's one of my favorite countries in Epcot! Michael bought me the greatest ring from there and wanted to buy me some bangels too but I wouldn't let him. I am kicking myself now as I love that stayle of jewelery.
