Hi Jenny,

I wanted to let you know that Loren' surgery went well today. The DR says that he would be extremely surprised to find out that the tumor was cancer but he sent it out for a biopsy to make absolutely sure. He also told me that there is a 1% chance that it will return. I can live with those odds. He is in pain and was a little sick from the anesthesia but all in all it is good.

Hey Jenny! Look at you in the 440's! It seems the days are just moving on by...

I was just dropping in to say hi and see how you were. Hope all is well and you've recovered from you headache. I get migraines, so I know how that feels, just horrible. Today is 10 DAYS!!!! OMG, I just can't believe it's so close! The next 10 will fly though as I leave on Saturday for Seattle and don't come home until Wednesday -then I'm off to DL. My nephew is so excited too, I bought him an aluminum Mickey Mouse waterbottle as a token gift to open at his birthday dinner - he wants to fill it with vodka and cranberry! Oh, to be 21 again. I was kidding around him too, letting him know that I would be conducting bed check at 11:30 each night. He just rolls his eyes and laughs at me. I have decided that while I'm away in Seattle, any down time I have, I can work on my Ridemax plan.

I'm so ready for this vacation, but once it's over, my work travel basically has me out of the office until the end of October (in and out, but mostly out) so it's the calm before the storm.. Have a great day!

I am so glad the sugery well went. The waiting is unnerving but at this point, I would just trust the doc and I like those odds too.

I am. I figure that Dr Ferguson has been doing this awhile so he knows what he is looking at. Now if we can just get past the next few days without him hurting himself.

He's taking vicodin so he is pretty sedated. Well at least loaded.

He is on crutches and not supposed to be weight bearing for a few days. He is off of PE until December 5. I will officially be nuts by the time he is allowed to play baseball and football.

lol. maybe. Taylor was born in '93 so I doubt he was at legends much after that But pre 92....maybe! I'll ask him. I doubt he was a stellar tipper but not a bad one either (unless he felt it warranted lol). As a former server myself, I'm the much better tipper of the 2 of us!

Chloe told me for her bat mitzvah she wants to go to Disneyland and do MNSSHP. I love having 3 trips on the docket (sp?): Disneyland Nov/Dec 2010, WDW December 2011, Disneyland October 2012. Our Disneyland APs expire in 15 days though. If I though even for a moment we'd get there again after this Nov/Dec, I would renew. You never know with soccer if we'd end up doing a So Cal tournament.

Michael and I were both servers/bartendars too so our servers always make out. Not make out make out though. Or maybe they do?

Oh I bet! Honestly, that's how we ended up with an August trip. Club tourneys are done so the girls can be ready for HS soccer and HS took an August break for the 1st 3 weeks before tryouts. That was our window.

State cup went through both mid winter break and spring break so we just didn't even bother. We tried the Presidents week thing back in 09 and won't do it again. If we do a spring break trip (which I don't see happening this year) it would be just the E's as we have 4 different school calendars to work with anyways.

BLEH.

My siblings are making noise about an 8/11 WDW/WWOHP trip but I doubt it will actually happen. Outside of the girls trip I wasn't planning a trip for my crew until 6/12. I don't know that even with sibling and parental pressure, Jeff would go for it again next summer, we both need and want some other things in there too (though I'd feel differently if I weren't going on the girls trip!)

That said I could easily see a SoCal trip happening between now and then. Gotta love Alaska kids fly free....
