:faint: $277 for the tickets with transfers for the two of them. Holy pricey! For one day! Looks like more of a $350 day before whatever she cons him into buying her.

Yeah, not cheap. Margaritaville does offer a 10% discount with your AAA card if they want to hit that for lunch lol! So does Mythos but I don't think it's worth the hype or wait. Most places in the park and merchandise at both parks and City Walk offer the AAA discount but you have to ask at checkout, can't go to guest services and ask if you forget.

Would the girls want some spa time maybe? K wasn't thrilled with the mani at the GF spa (Boring colors lol) but maybe SSR has something more tween/teenish?

You could always take them to the GF for Tea...if they'd be into that at all.

Spa time is a good idea, like some pedicures though not sure they'd appreciate it like we would. Hmmm......the tea might be perfect. :thumbsup2

I'm looking into Universal right now. They really need two days and I suppose I could add a day on as we don't have flights yet. That would give us 6 THV and 6 AKV.......

Nice round numbers, I like it! For me, that's a nice length if you can pull it off as travel can eat up almost 2 days depending on how your flights work out. We did 12 back in 2010, this year will be 11. Would they do both parks then? It may be cheaper to rent a car and drive over, I'd explore that versus the DU package as an option. It was too complicated for my BF to deal with but would likely be worth looking at.

Thanks Michele. :goodvibes It's been a great day. You saw my beautiful cake. :cloud9: Guess I don't hide my love of Disney as well as I thought I did. :rotfl2: Got our taxes done and we're getting a return for the first time in ages! Went to breakfast, got a new filling, and heading to dinner with the with the inlaws after Chloe's doctor's appt.

How are you feeling?

Cynthia, I really had no clue how big Universal and IOA were. I haven't been to Universal since Jaws was the big draw. :rotfl2: The only issue with adding an extra night, aside from the cost of another Disney day is that our hoppers with the YES program are 8 days with 8 water park days. That means we'd have to do either a third water park day, a DTD day, or a Disney Quest day or the combo. Our hoppers are perfect for our current length of stay. Hmmm..........I'll check into the packages for Michael and Gab.

You're welcome. It sounds like you have had a good day. I hope dinner was good or is good. Your cake is beautiful!! I guess not!!:rotfl: I am better thanks.

It's delicious too. Glad you're feeling better! :goodvibes

Now I'm all into this Universal thing. :surfweb: I'm think I'm going to have to put it to rest until I change resorts in about 6 days. I still haven't decided between Kidani and Jambo. :upsidedow

Ooh, are there pictures of the cake on FB? I need to check!

Or...you could all go to Universal/IOA :rotfl: We ALL loved it. Seriously fun stuff and totally different than Disney.

We did 8 Disney nights and 4 Universal/IOA nights on our last trip, which was a pretty good combo for us. 7 Disney park days, 1 waterpark/dtd day and then 3 US/IOA days, two resort days (at Universal though but it was moving, and return day).

Yes, on my profile page before all of the birthday wishes. It's the most amazing cake and tastes as food as it looks. :cloud9:

Did you stay at Universal? Then check back into DVC or was Universal at the end? Oh my gosh, this adds a new level of planning. :surfweb: And a whole bunch more $$$.

:goofy: 6 days until 7 month booking!!! :goofy:

:tink: 41 days until ADRs!!! :tink:

:figment: 221 days until WDW!!! :figment:

Of course being the crazy DVC stalker I am  I've been able to check into CL availability starting a few days before we arrive. I know what shows as open now could be changing as I type but oh well, it gives me hope to carry on. :rotfl2:

The Thurs and Fri before we arrive show open for a one bedroom CL but both the 14 and 15 are closed completely. All other 2 bedroom options at Kiadani and Jambo are open. :thumbsup2 :hyper:

My friend who owns at AKV checked for me and a 2 bedroom CL is available for 10/20 and 10/21. :scared1: Pretty pretty pretty please stay open. If by chance it does, that would give us 10/14-10/20 at THV, 10/20-10-22 at AKV CL, and then 10/22-10/25 at AKV SV. I know I said I wouldn't change for less than 3 nights but for CL, I'd be willing to take 2. :lmao:

The planning is coming along. I haven't done much. I have procrastinated booking a hotel for the night before our flights in D.C. And now I'm looking at a Disneyland Christmas. I really need an intervention LOL.

Christmas at Disneyland is wonderful. Wonderful and crowded but if your prepared you can still enjoy it. :goodvibes Not sure how the FP return times will affect touring. I'm curious to see how it all pans out. From what I've read, you cannot arrive before 5 minutes or return after 15. The arrive procedure is the same but the return will really cramp our touring style. :scared1:
