Kidd Kraddick In the Morning

There is a morning DJ host in Dallas Texas that brings each year a group of kids that are handicapped and their families to Disney World (Kidd's Kids). It's a charity trip that helps the kids and their family. They are planning to make their annual trip I believe at the end of the week and are supposed to broadcast live Friday.

If anyone is going to WDW at that time keep and eye out for them.

They are going to be broadcasting on the radio from the ESPN club tomorrow morning 7:30am central time.

This is a GREAT charity Kidd Kraddick started up himself. They raise money every year to bring ill children and their families to WDW. They set them up too where they don't have to spend one dime. Last year, I believe they flew them all in and set them up at BW.
If you can get his show in your city, be sure to bring plenty of tissue when listening tomorrow morning. The spirits of these children and their families are absolutely amazing!

I live in Dallas and used to listen to KISS FM in the morning. This is an awesome thing they do. They use donations as well as their own money to take 10 families to WDW that would not be able to afford it otherwise. They choose these families because the child has palsy, cancer or some type of (usually terminal) illness. They want the family to have an amazing trip together because they know that all of their money goes to hospitals, doctors, treatments, etc.

They broadcast live from WDW and I have to tell you, anybody with a heart is in tears all morning when they listen to this. You hear mom's and dad's sobbing with joy that they would get to do this with their child and you hear children that have suffered pain for years squeal with delight because they are in the most magical place on earth.

Many Blockbuster's actually have the video you can rent to watch this and see what the organization is all about.

When I used to listen, many of these stories were very memorable to me. At times, children who are choosen to go on this trip, pass away afterwards and their parents say the most special time they had with their child after they got sick was when Kidd's Kids took them to WDW. (YES, I am tearing up as I type this).......what a blessing each of these children are to their parents and to us who witness this.....and what a blessing this organization is to these children.

In fact, Kids Kidds has grown considerably. They have over 40 families on this trip!
