Kidani vs. Jambo

I thought I saw a post that detailed the differences between the two, but I can't find it on "Search". We are hoping to stay in a 2-bedroom in April, and I'd like to find out as much as I can. Anyone have a good link to information?

Kidani 2 bedroom villas sleep 9 - there is pull out sleeper chair that sleeps 1 person in living room in addition to pull out sofa that sleeps 2 and there is an extra full bathroom off living room area bringing total number of bathrooms for 2 bedroom villas at Kidani to 3 full.

Community Hall/Center is located at Kidani and has various activities scheduled usually geared towards kids 4 and up ( it is not baby-sitting; that would be at Simba's located at Jambo & that is payable per hour ). Counter serve is located at Jambo but there is limited dining menu that can be ordered by phone & delivered to pool area at Kidani.

Last year we stayed at Jambo in a 2BR lock off, just came back from Kidani 2 BR dedicated.

2 BR dedicated at Kidani was much larger than the 2BR lockoff at Jambo. At Kidani there were 3 bathrooms vs 2 at Jambo. The master bathroom was HUGE!!! I liked the set up of the rooms better there. The kitchen at Kidani was smaller than at Jambo, but there seemed to be a lot of unusable kitchen space at Jambo as it seemed more opened. With the dedicated vs. lock off, your balcony spans the length of your rooms, which makes it very long. With the lock off, of course the studio balcony is "locked off" from the main balcony. Also, there were two queenbeds in the dedicated 2nd bedroom vs the queen and pullout couch.

It can be a haul to go over to the Jambo house for a CS meal. But you can take any park bound bus and ride it to Jambo, and walk or take the DTD bus back to Kidani. A little hassle, but worth the bigger room in my opinion.

Thanks for the information! There will be 8 of us, so the bigger villa and balcony would be very nice!

Yes, but it's not just a request, but a booking category, so you'll definitely get what you book.

The Jambo House 2-bedrooms also sleep 9 with the exception of the Value 2-bedrooms. Kidani 2-bedrooms have the extra bathroom off of the living room.

Does Kidani have anything in the store or at the pool bar that can be used with the Counter service option on the dining plan?
