Kidani Room Question.

So, I have my reservation booked, but I am wondering, should I make a room request, or just leave it to fate. We're staying in a one bedroom standard view in february, and am wondering from those who have stayed in Kidani if we should make a request, and if so, where would be a good place to request and why. (floor level, which side, near or far from an elevator, etc)

I would request to be on the side that the pool area is on. A standard room will then have a pool view or close to it. It also keeps you from having to walk through the smoking area to get to the bus stops.

We stayed in a standard room with no requests and got a room facing the bus stop. It was nice and close, and we heard no noise. I thought the view was fine.

thanks everyone! and thank you for letting me know about the smoking area, I can't walk through smoke without getting all closed up, and having breathing problems for the next couple hours. I was also wondering if being close to an elevator, or close to the lobby is helpful, or noisy?
