Kid free weekend

My sister and her boyfriend are taking my dd camping this weekend. There is no school on friday so its a long weekend for her. Sunday Im going to a scrapbook crop..other than that...home alone no kid!

Take a loooooong hot bath, drink some wine, veg out on the couch watching whatever you want!

HAVE FUN!! (gotta admit, I'm a little jealous! )

What I want to know is ... why did you bother to have kids if you were going to be so excited about getting rid of them?

A mother of a girl in Emily's class asked me this weekend at gymnastics if both girls would be interested in going camping with them for a weekend this summer. Would they ever! I am already planning what we are going to do while they are gone.
