We are booked on the Wonder later in the Fall that has a stop in Key West. I have been there before, so fairly familiar with it, but have always taken a Port Adventure, but the last time, Disney had a hoping/hop off Conch Train, which is no longer listed.
What we would like to do is see the Hemingway House for some cat therapy, maybe the lighthouse, and then try to see the Truman White House for the tour.
Problem is, my son is recovering from a stroke, doing well, in fact we took the same cruise last year and the time at sea actually improved his balance and walking. His main issue now is walking quickly, and I am wondering how crowded the bus service gets on a Sunday when a cruise ship is in port, (so far the Wonder is the only one listed) and is it too crowded at the Truman house with already booked Port Adventures to get a separate ticket.
Ideally, the PA we have booked would start at the Truman House and then we would be allowed off the Conch Train at the Hemingway House, but it appears that isn’t possible.
Any insight will be appreciated.
Thanks!
