I agree w/ OP. My 2 children are both old enough to vote this year. I engouraged them to register--which they did. I encourage all their friends to register as well. The last election reinforced just how important every vote is.

I have always thought of Bush as a decent man, but of limited intellectual ability. The people who scare the hell out of me are the second echelon. Dick Cheney? from Wyoming ? (no offense, lived in Mt for many years and it was all NoDa'ker jokes) I won't even get into Ashcroft, et al.

Do I think there is a conspiracy between Bush and the Big Oil to make a whole buncha money for somebody? You bet. Way too coincidental that a major oil producing country got invaded ( not low key or covert regime change)with tens of thousands of US troops and ancilliary equipment, and who gets the lion's share of the US tax dollars to support the troops and rebuild the Iraqi infrastructure?

And The Answer Is....Halliburton ( and Dick Cheney), Kellogg Brown and Root (and Dick Cheney) and on and on (insert Dick Cheney where appropriate)

I have a brother with Multiple Sclerosis so the ban on Stem Cell research funding is obscene to me. I hope none of the Pro bush supporters' relatives get some weird disease like Parkinsons or Alzheimer's. Decent or stupid or not , thats enough to make me vote for the other guy.

Look, both of these candidates are children of the privileged class and the guy who gets my vote is the one who put his a** on the line. The one who was a pretty good prosecutor.

Not the one who was in the Alabama ANG and "Whoops, We lost his pay stubs".

Kerry did some serious S**t in Vietnam. He did not shirk his duty. He has the military records to prove it.

It's unfortunate, because I think Bush is basically a decent man and I think he did an OK job after 9/11.

He got way too side tracked with Iraq and it has come back to bite him in the a**.

I wasn't going to post the link after reading your little temper tantrum. I thought that it was quite simple, even for you, to type in the information I provided.

I'm not sure, but there is a possibility that Mr. Ed O'Keefe and ABC News may take offense to your "credible" statement.
