Just a warning...

I have tickets to Arizona in April on Delta.

About a month ago I check the flights and found my 3 hour layover in Salt Lake City had changed and was now 1 hour...no biggie because my flight departure time changed by 2 hours. We now leave at 8AM instead of 6AM. Seats stayed the same.

Today something just said to check the flights again....well the airplane size had changed from Salt Lake City to Phoenix (only a 45 minute flight) and we were all over the plane. Have 3 different reservations for 4 family members (long story). They put the 2 of us on one reservation together and the other 2 (who they had no way of knowing were traveling with us or together) were in 2 totally different aisles. Thankfully I was able to move us so we have our seats together...further back in the plane but together (did the aisle across from each other in 2 rows).

I am glad I saw this as early as I did. I know all airlines do this. I know it is so far out that is probably why I was not notified by Delta. I just want to remind people to keep checking every so often on any airline to see if planes or times have changed. The earlier you find it the better off you will be to get changes. I will continue to check my flights every couple of weeks......

Happy travels to everyone!!!!

I have tickets to Arizona in May on Delta and they did a similiar thing to me. Plane and seats are the same but they changed the flight times by about an hour on each leg.

Delta changed our June trip... but for the better. Actually they put us on a worse departing flight, but I was able to call and get it changed, so instead of landing in MCO @ 10PM (plus getting rental car and driving to grandparents), now we land at 6:30PM!

I realize that this is an old thread, but wanted to let folks know about recent flight changes with Delta. I received an email this afternoon from Delta, & my September outbound flight had changed from early morning to afternoon! I would get into Orlando at 11:30 pm--not good. I was able to re-book my flight 2 days earlier and get the flights I wanted. So, looks like extra days at Disney for me--darn! ;)
Just hoping nothing else changes....

This was old but since the last post, Delta actually eliminated my nonstop flight and put me on a connection with a 37 minute layover where the plane had a history of being late over 50% of the time. I ended up switching to a a nonstop redeye the night before. Naturally I made the flight but my luggage did not come till the next day but thats another story.

BTW _ does anyone else get annoyed whne luggage does not make it but they still charge you for it?
