I was just browsing Amazon.com a little earlier - thinking about buying some used books.. I'm very fond of "series" and am considering Karen Kingsbury's 5-book "Redemption" series.. (Along with another Beverly Lewis series..)

I have read Karen's 2-book series: "One Tuesday Morning" and "Beyond Tuesday Morning" and really enjoyed it..:)

Is the "Redemption" series good? The "snippets" from each book sounded pretty interesting..

Opinions?

I really liked the Redemption Series. However, I must warn you, there are three more series that follow. They branch out from the original Baxter family, but the Baxters play a role in them. You might begin to think of them as real people and consider yourself a friend of the family (as I have after reading all those books)!

That's great! The "more" series, the better!! :thumbsup2

I'm always so disappointed to see a good book "end"..:goodvibes

Yes exactly! I loved all the "Baxter" series. I actually started with the second series accidentally (received 2 of them for Christmas), but really enjoyed going back and reading the Redemption series. I highly recommend! :thumbsup2

Her books are awesome, I felt like I knew the characters personally after reading the series. I only read the second and third series of the Baxters, she has plenty of flashbacks in the stories so I felt I knew enough about the background, someday I'll probably go back and read them, but since I already know what happened I can wait. I wish there were more!

Another thumbs up :thumbsup2 from me. I loved this series! Like a pp said, you become familiar with the characters & grow to love them.

I absolutely loved the Redemption series. I had a hard time going to sleep at night because I kept wanting to read just a little more.

This thread ended up costing me quite a few bucks - LOL..

Finished the "Redemption" series - which got me totally "hooked" on the Baxter family..

Finished the last book of the Baxter "First Born" series earlier tonight and started the final series - "Sunrise".. I don't want the Baxter books to end! :(

Received another Karen Kingsbury book in the mail today that looks very interesting - "Like Dandelion Dust".. Can't wait to read it!

Any day now another of her series should be arriving in the mail: The "Forever Faithful" series:

Waiting For Morning
A Moment Of Weakness
Halfway To Forever

I am really, really enjoying her books!!!! :goodvibes
