Just wondering if...

We also used Garden Grocer one trip. Ordered groceries and Miller Lite - forget the 30 pack in FL. No such thing. We looked. The old case 24 is the most you will find.

No 30 pack!? Hummm...guess we'll just have to buy 2 of the 24's!:rotfl2:

LOL, here in Minnesota at the MetroDome, we have a beer vendor who has a very distinctive voice and has been hawking beer at ballgames for the past 35 years! He is called "Wally the Beerman" and even has his own baseball card! You could call yourself "Mickey's beerman" and come up with your own Disney pin!:lmao:

My wife and I are booked for our first DCL trip. I assumed that it would not be permissable to bring booze aboard.

OK - I emailed GardenGrocer... They confirmed yes there is a $40 min. grocery order and also there is a $12 del. fee....but then they confirmed the alcohol delivery:
"YES, we will leave alcohol with Bell Services if you have faxed your ID.

The GardenGrocer.com Team"

Now I have to decide if $40 in unwanted groceries and a $12 fee is worth the effort!:rotfl: I'm thinking just forget using Magic Express this time & rent a car from MCO!! It can't be THAT HARD to find WDW from there, right?:goodvibes That way we can stop on our way and won't have to screw up our Sat. doing the car rental thing...I will have to price rentals...there's only 3 of us - but I am a chronic overpacker - so we'll need lots of trunk space! The other option will be to price a car service from MCO to WDW and see if we can have THEM stop on our way to the resort and buy our "stuff" early. Hummm...more planning!:rotfl2:

Sssteele - yes, you may bring your own alcohol, beer and wine onboard...somewhat discreetly, of course. Many people do this so they can mix drinks in their rooms, to save on corkage fees for wine and to cut back on their bar bills. They will permit small SOFTSIDED coolers - not great big hard sided Colemans but with no ice in them!! Many people who drive to the port use those little rolling ones and bring them on as carry-on luggage! But since we're flying and going to WDW for 3 n first, I bought a small one w/o wheels that folds flat so I can pack it and it holds up to 48 cans. And of course with either type, if you put bottles or glass in it you need to pack it carefully. Since ours doesn't have wheels and will get heavy I think I will plan to put a luggage tag on it & let them deliver it to the room with the rest of our luggage!

That is great that DCL allows that!!! Most other cruise lines strictly prohibit bringing your booze on board.

Although I have never personally used a car service from MCo before, I have seen that most allow for a grocery store stop on the way to your resort. Now, that may be just what you are looking for! Good luck!
