great update tim! were did juliana find that ice cream tree? i want one. that beer is made about an hour from were i live. we deal with a boiler amnu. thats in the same town. we take clients to the factory than over to the brewery for a tour. very old brewery. great pics as usual!

You looked like Pete sitting there eating oranges...he could have eaten several, how many did you eat??? No wonder you weren't hungry for your dinner... Fishing looks FUN. ! I used to do that a lot when I was younger and your comment got me to thinking I don't think Pete has ever seen ME fish in 23 years...
Loved the hidden Mickey and the golf pics were cute. Speaking of cute, Mel looks adorable in ALL of her Pics!! The beach made me long to be basking in the sun. Looking forward to more when you have time...

We were only there for a few minutes when I had to go pick some fresh oranges.

That would be quite a nice treat!

A few short minutes later, I was eating fresh oranges. Juliana must of found a ice cream tree or something.

Ice cream tree??? Really??? Everybody knows you get ice cream from a cold cow.

It was an unsuccessful fishing trip

She was so happy to be in the ocean. It was a great treat to be at the beach in March. That could never happen at home.

It could happen but you might have to break some ice first. Looks like a lot of fun though, glad you got some quality family and beach time in during your trip.

Late night pizza rocks. Good choice- WAY better than a bowl of Cheerios.

Coming from CT with the best pizza in the world, eating Domino's is frowned upon. But it wasn't bad and hit the spot as a late evening snack... plus I need something to go with my beer!

People actually CATCH fish when they fish?? I had no idea.

If you tried to swim in March here, you'd come out more frozen than a fish stick. I need a vacation.

We left the house with snow on the ground. Parts of Long Island sound had ice and all of our local lakes were still frozen over. I'd say we would be frozen too!

For a minute there, I thought you were doing your best MJ on a pool stick impersonation. Then realized it was an orange picker stick.

I think I ate 2 oranges at that sitting. They were so good.

I think Melody tolerated fishing because she just had to drop her line in the water and there were no WORMS involved- we were using shrimp.


We had such a fun time at the beach! I wish we could of stayed there longer.

It was nice to visit with him but 4 days (really 3 1/2) was enough. Seriously though, it is hard on him because there is no one with-in a 2 1/2 hour drive of him so he is kinda on his own.

I'm not really a fisherman either but I do like it.... it is equivalent to a spa day for you ladies.

Disney is coming up in the next update... get your popcorn ready!

Our spring has been pretty crummy too. Although yesterday it hit 80 here... It felt so good but it almost was too hot because there was like 90% humidity.

Mark was cracking up when I showed him this picture before he headed off to work. You know how he loves his "mine, mine, mine."


Now this is something you don't see everyday- and I have NEVER seen it since I met Melody over 10 years ago. Melody fishing!!!

As I posted on FB, she is a better woman than me because you wouldn't catch me ever doing that.

How sweet that you all spent some time with Mel's grandfather. I'm sure he enjoyed having vibrant little Ana around! It's sad that he's over two hours away from everyone though. I'm sure he appreciated your visit very much.

Orange picking, what fun! We go apple picking at this one farm every single September. Were the oranges tasty?

DH, my dad and my brothers LOVE Yuengling. Whenever they're together, it's the only beer there. Well except for the occasional Guiness but those are more expensive, you only get like four!

CT has good pizza? Really? Just kidding! I know they do, I saw that movie Mystic Pizza silly.

Love all the fishing pics! Ana's pole is about four times as tall as her! But she looks like a pro. Mel is radiant too. Though I don't enjoy fishing (I dislike worms and pulling fish off of hooks) DH is always trying to get me to join him.

Gorgeous sunset! I absolutely love when the sky looks all pinky-purple like that.

Those beach pics are gorgeous! Ana certainly looked like she was having a blast! She's quite the adorable poser too! What a cutie pie.

We love mini golf! Looks like you guys had such a nice, relaxing day together.
