Love your soaking up the sun posts!!! You DID deserve it after such a frigid winter! So sorry about Melody's Grandmom. You looked like Pete sitting there eating oranges...he could have eaten several, how many did you eat??? No wonder you weren't hungry for your dinner...:lmao: Fishing looks FUN. ! I used to do that a lot when I was younger and your comment got me to thinking I don't think Pete has ever seen ME fish in 23 years...:lmao::lmao:
Loved the hidden Mickey and the golf pics were cute. Speaking of cute, Mel looks adorable in ALL of her Pics!! The beach made me long to be basking in the sun. Looking forward to more when you have time...popcorn:::flower3:popcorn:::flower3: popcorn::

I'm glad we got him out of the house for a little while. He lit up with Juliana running around. :goodvibes
Juliana was good medicine for him!

I wanted to get this up since I WON'T be posting an update for a few days! ::yes::

Thought I would BOLD and enlarge this for you!!!:lmao::lmao::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl: :rotfl::lmao::lmao:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Not sure it will help him tho.

Tim- Looks like you had a nice time hanging with Mel's Grandpa. I'm with Mel, I don't get the whole fishing thing:confused3. Is it just another excuse to get from the house....kinda like golf:confused3:rotfl2::rotfl2:
Your beach day looked great:thumbsup2but is there ever really a bad day at the beach?:confused3
Looking forward to the Disney part of the trip.:)

Looks like you had a wonderful day at the beach:thumbsup2 It make me warm just looking at your pics. I think I'm ready for some warmer weather. I don't think spring will everget here to WI.:sad1:

We were only there for a few minutes when I had to go pick some fresh oranges.
That would be quite a nice treat! :thumbsup2

A few short minutes later, I was eating fresh oranges. Juliana must of found a ice cream tree or something.
Ice cream tree??? Really??? Everybody knows you get ice cream from a cold cow. :rotfl2:

It was an unsuccessful fishing trip
Did you fall into the water??? If not, I'd say it was a success!

She was so happy to be in the ocean. It was a great treat to be at the beach in March. That could never happen at home.
It could happen but you might have to break some ice first. Looks like a lot of fun though, glad you got some quality family and beach time in during your trip.

What in THE heck are you still doing up!!? Must be what? 1:00?
This feels like dejavu! :lmao:

Ok, I"ve gone back to read...
This is like ninja posting X100!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Late night pizza rocks. Good choice- WAY better than a bowl of Cheerios.
Coming from CT with the best pizza in the world, eating Domino's is frowned upon. But it wasn't bad and hit the spot as a late evening snack... plus I need something to go with my beer! :rolleyes1

People actually CATCH fish when they fish?? I had no idea.
I thought so.... :confused3

If you tried to swim in March here, you'd come out more frozen than a fish stick. I need a vacation.
We left the house with snow on the ground. Parts of Long Island sound had ice and all of our local lakes were still frozen over. I'd say we would be frozen too!

So where you going? popcorn::

For a minute there, I thought you were doing your best MJ on a pool stick impersonation. Then realized it was an orange picker stick.
I think you bring up MJ so you can see the picture again didn't you? Didn't you?

Disney3-2010269.jpg

Mel looks fab, as per usual.
Thanks! :)

Awesome sunset. No, really.
It would of looked better if I was at the beach. ::yes::

I rarely get one up more than every few days. Is there a problem with that?? HOpe you have fun doing whatever it is you get/have to.
Tonight I have to work from home, tomorrow night I'm going to a Yankees game, Friday work, Saturday heading to a party... so maybe Sunday??? :confused3

Nope, the Noir is open. It'll have to be that. ANd I"m already in bed, propped up with my warm laptop. :goodvibes And did you welcome me because you think this is the first time i"ve posted here?? I'm confuzzled. Tim, is it getting too late for you??
I was just being a nice host.... allowing you to kick off your shoes and relax. ;)

Can you believe they don't sell Yuengling in CT? I have no idea why? Carl said he would deliver me some... I'm still waiting on that! :rotfl:

I think I ate 2 oranges at that sitting. They were so good. :thumbsup2

I think Melody tolerated fishing because she just had to drop her line in the water and there were no WORMS involved- we were using shrimp.

We had such a fun time at the beach! I wish we could of stayed there longer. :beach:

Thought I would BOLD and enlarge this for you!!!
Thank you!!!! Now I won't have to fend everyone off for at least a few hours... :rolleyes1:rolleyes1

love your daughters poses!!! :cheer2: natural born model:dance3:
She is a HAM! Once she sees the camera the posing commences! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Not sure it will help him tho.

It was nice to visit with him but 4 days (really 3 1/2) was enough. ;) Seriously though, it is hard on him because there is no one with-in a 2 1/2 hour drive of him so he is kinda on his own.

I'm not really a fisherman either but I do like it.... it is equivalent to a spa day for you ladies. :lmao:

Disney is coming up in the next update... get your popcorn ready! popcorn::

Looks like you had a wonderful day at the beach:thumbsup2 It make me warm just looking at your pics. I think I'm ready for some warmer weather. I don't think spring will everget here to WI.:sad1:
Our spring has been pretty crummy too. Although yesterday it hit 80 here... It felt so good but it almost was too hot because there was like 90% humidity. :sad2:

Ice cream tree??? Really??? Everybody knows you get ice cream from a cold cow. :rotfl2:
And here I was thinking you got chocolate milk from a brown cow? :confused3 How did I mess that up?? :confused3

Did you fall into the water??? If not, I'd say it was a success!
:rotfl2:
Nope. I stayed perfectly dry! (good thing FED isn't here, I'm sure he'd beg to differ! LOL)

It could happen but you might have to break some ice first. Looks like a lot of fun though, glad you got some quality family and beach time in during your trip.
::yes:: Lots of ice... it was nice spending time with her grandfather. But now get ready for Disney! :woohoo:

Cute picture.

Such a little ham! I love it.

These guys were watching some seagulls saying 'Mine, mine, mine'

DSC01532.jpg

Mark was cracking up when I showed him this picture before he headed off to work. You know how he loves his "mine, mine, mine."

Now this is something you don't see everyday- and I have NEVER seen it since I met Melody over 10 years ago. Melody fishing!!!

IMAG0410.jpg

As I posted on FB, she is a better woman than me because you wouldn't catch me ever doing that. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Not the best few of the sunset over buildings but it was so colorful.

A sunset in Florida is beautiful no matter what the background.

OK... time to get in the water!

Love this set of photos. You can see what a "sunshine" she truly is.

She was so happy to be in the ocean. It was a great treat to be at the beach in March. That could never happen at home. She kept filling up her bucket with water and dumping it in a hole we made.

I have decided you do this on purpose...you WAIT until I go to bed to do an update. My comments are in red regarding Princess Ana.

Oh WOW!! I see you're "one of us"!! How cool!

Someday, I am hoping to come up north to see Cynthia (eandesmom); I"ll make sure I PM you if that happens!! If you're ever down here in Salem, I'd love to meet you!! THere's quite a few of us around here!
:yay:

Native Seattlelite here, born and raised, have the webbed toes to prove it :lmao::lmao: even though I moved from WA in 1994 to be with my husband, my DD and I moved back last summer after he died to be close to the families!
You need to come up and see Seattle, its a great city! would love to meet up with you!
If we ever head down south, will let you know!

And here I was thinking you got chocolate milk from a brown cow? :confused3 How did I mess that up?? :confused3
Well, that is still true... How else would you explain chocolate ice cream? :confused3
:lmao:

:rotfl2:
Nope. I stayed perfectly dry! (good thing FED isn't here, I'm sure he'd beg to differ! LOL)
You know, I almost hesitated to post that since I haven't seen him around here to jump in, but then I figured it's a running gag anyway, so why not!:lmao::rotfl:

She is a ham! ::yes:: :goodvibes

Well Kathy, there is a first time for everything! :rotfl2:

Very true! :goodvibes

Love this set of photos. You can see what a "sunshine" she truly is.
She was loving it... I didn't go in over my knees. The water was a tad chilly for me. Juliana on the other hand was all about it! :lmao:

I have decided you do this on purpose...you WAIT until I go to bed to do an update. My comments are in red regarding Princess Ana.
Well, I usually write them once Mel goes to bed so I have some quiet time... you guys must goto bed around the same time! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Great update Tim!:thumbsup2

How sweet that you all spent some time with Mel's grandfather. I'm sure he enjoyed having vibrant little Ana around!:goodvibes It's sad that he's over two hours away from everyone though. I'm sure he appreciated your visit very much.:goodvibes

Orange picking, what fun! We go apple picking at this one farm every single September. Were the oranges tasty?

DH, my dad and my brothers LOVE Yuengling. Whenever they're together, it's the only beer there. Well except for the occasional Guiness but those are more expensive, you only get like four!

CT has good pizza? Really?:confused3 Just kidding! I know they do, I saw that movie Mystic Pizza silly.

Love all the fishing pics! Ana's pole is about four times as tall as her! But she looks like a pro. Mel is radiant too. Though I don't enjoy fishing (I dislike worms and pulling fish off of hooks:eek:) DH is always trying to get me to join him.

Gorgeous sunset! I absolutely love when the sky looks all pinky-purple like that.

Those beach pics are gorgeous! Ana certainly looked like she was having a blast! She's quite the adorable poser too! What a cutie pie.:cutie:

We love mini golf! Looks like you guys had such a nice, relaxing day together.:thumbsup2

Can't wait to see the Disney installment next! Not that I'm complaining, I think you've done a remarkable job with updating!:thumbsup2

One question, is it normal to pick oranges with a pitch fork?

Looks like a wonderful few days. I wish I could move to Florida! How nice to have an orange tree out back

You know Tim, you could do a contest like Marv and Glenn. But instead of spotting "Mel", it could be a Dooney purse sighting instead! Just a thought to help you keep your readership up, not that it appears you're having any trouble with that though!

Or he could do a contest and see who can guess how many times the "whip" picture has or will appear either here or in other threads. ;)

Hmm, something tells me he'd be more amenable to the purse pic over the whip one...:rolleyes1
