My brother, sister-in-law, 2 nieces (6 and 8), and myself will be going in a few weeks. I was able to get BBB reservations for both of the girls at the same time. Do you know if they will put them together? Will they let me, my brother, and my sister-in-law watch since both of them will be getting makeovers? That would still be following the 2 adults per child policy, right?

We were there May 22nd. I watched my Granddaughter with her Mother (my DD) But it is packed in the dress shop and salon. Seems like the Salon Ladies had their own area for doing the hair & makeup. But when you first check in I would mention putting them together.

Yes they will put them together and you can all watch (though depending on where they are seated and how many other kids brought 2 adults, it might be a bit crowded). Last time we were there they put my 2 girls in a room in back with 4 seats and then brought in another pair of sisters for the other 2 seats. It was really fun.

Ya we went over thanksgiving and I had reservations at the same time for both my daughters and they were seated next to each other.

You’ll have to figure which child to watch. The 3rd adult won’t have the best choice if this is how the policy works.

They should definitely put them together and you should all be able to watch. The only reason they won’t is if it’s especially busy and there’s some reason they can’t put them together. We just went and I was sitting to the side because it seemed crowded and they called me to come over and watch from right behind the chair. The space is not very large and assuming you’re in the same side as the child you will have a view. In the center is the “spectator's” seating. Then the have a couple of rooms but there’s ample seating.

Tagging in with my own question.

We're taking my daughter to BBB for her 4th birthday. My son will be 2.5--is it fine for mom and dad (me) as well as our son to be there watching? If the 2.5 year old suddenly can't sit quiet/still and I need to leave, is there a waiting area of sorts? I'm fine taking him somewhere else in the park but I'd kinda like to be there for the "reveal" and to see her get her pictures taken.

I’m sure they will be able to accommodate you. We were there and had our other granddaughter with us and there was no problem. Especially a little one who can sit on your lap so there was room.. I’m sure it’s just so you don’t bring an entourage with you.
Add to add: we went over to Sir Mickey‘s to have the pictures done afterwards and there’s plenty of room over there as well. We were sitting on a sofa type structure in the center of the room, and the hairstyling boot are on the outer walls of the room, so there’s plenty of room to observe and for the photographers to walk around freely inside the BBB

If I'm online right at midnight when the reservations open up, how likely am I to get a morning reservation for day 3 of our 5-night stay?

We're arriving on a Sunday, and my daughter's birthday is on Tuesday, so I'd like to be able to book the morning on the day of her birthday. I know we can book for the length of our stay starting on 60 days prior to our check-in date.

However, I just watched a video by a YouTuber who was checking availability for day 6 of his 6 day trip and the morning times were all gone. Of course he may have been checking hours after they opened just for the purpose of making his video, but I know I'll be bummed if we can't get the day of her birthday.

I've heard the BBB availability is weird right now, with the new packages being released it's not certain if all the times have been loaded into the system.

From experience on the cruise line, make sure your kiddo LIKES having makeup put on....nothing beats paying all that money to be washing off makeup in 30 minutes 🙃

When they say "Two adults per child" where do siblings count in there? When our DGDs went to BBB several years ago, there was no such policy. Hopefully, this is just to eliminate one child being watched by parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. I hope siblings are unlimited.

How many siblings? I believe the rule is due to limited space and the website actually specifies "2 guests" and not "2 adults." That said, I'm sure they'll try to accommodate as well as possible if it's 1 parent and a couple of siblings.

Do what I did. Grab what time you can get and keep looking for cancellations. When we went in June, I found they were dropping all kinds of reservations a week or so out. You could choose your time. I haven't checked since then. When we went the time before last, I had to book 4 girls into a morning slot. I was able to at 5 days out, and that was 4! You should be able to get something. It also doesn't hurt to call, either. My granddaughter wanted to do a little later - after we rode Tiana. She didn't want to get wet. I think we had 11:45. Most of the time. we get early, then head to Cinderella's Castle for breakfast.

When we took our little one this past time, her older sister went with us. I was going to sit on the side in order to not take anyone's space, and they asked me if I wanted to sit in front of her. There was space, and it was comfortable.
