I love Rylan's new bed! He looks like a little man in it! I just took pics of Emily's new bedroom tonight. Hopefully I'll get them posted on my PTR soon.

Onto the next topic. I know that this one can get heated so I apologize in advance if some people aren't on the same page as I am. I have been thinking about hiring an in room sitter from Kids Nite Out to watch Rylan one or two nights so I can go out later at night and either enjoy EMH and some rides, or go to CityWalk at Universal...Has anyone ever used an in room sitter before? I am not used to spending SO much time with him, 24 hours a day, that I know I will for sure need a break. I am not sure if my aunt would keep him for a night or not.

Rylan's new bed is so cute! For some reason when you first posted a picture I thought it was a regular-sized bed but that little one's too cute!

About the babysitting, I don't have kids so I've never done it, but I don't see anything wrong with it at all! You deserve some fun time to yourself!

Oh, I forgot to comment about the babysitter! I definitly think you are going to need a babysitter. Being with a 3yo 24/7 is exhausting and to keep your first vacation to WDW a sane one, I'm all for it! I know when Mike is out of town and I don't get a break from Emily, I start to get cranky! It will also give you some time to experience some of the rides that Rylan can't go on like RnR & ToT. Go for it and have some Kara time!

I don't know where to find a kids tv. My first thought was TRU and Walmart. Maybe Target? Brad has been talking about getting one for the living room so Tyson can have on Wiggles and we can still watch our shows. BTW, Burn Notice comes on the 22nd!!!!!!! Yay!!!!!!!

I think that it would be fine for you to get a sitter. I heard awesome things about them. If I didn't have Brad with me on the trip, I would probably do the same thing. I'd probably pull my hair out by the end of the trip...LOL no I'm kidding but I would be tired. It's your vacation too! Remember that!

No, I wasn't going to do an illuminations cruise because I really don't like illuminations. (LOL Typed out that sounds so blunt ) Don't get me wrong, it's pretty. But I wouldn't pay extra to be on a boat and watch it. Maybe if I was doing a grand gathering and wanted to get the whole family together for something special. I like Wishes and Fantasmic the best. Wishes is so sentimental and Fantasmic has all the princesses and black and white mickey(steamboat willy mickey) drives the boat with all the characters on it at the end of fantasmic. It's great.

Yeah I wasn't sure about Illuminations, but what you said makes sense. Are there just a lot of fireworks shows? I think some of them I was iffy on and some I definitely wanted to see...but there is so much going on! Just the idea of being on a boat watching it seemed cool though. But from what I read on AllEars...its 13 minutes so I don't know if it would be worth it. We shall see!

He is definitely obsessed with Handy Manny now. Did I tell you guys about his birthday? If I already did (I am so forgetful) disregard this. His birthday is about 2 1/2 months away and I am trying to plan it (Okay, yes I remember telling you guys this...about his bday). Well I wanted to do the Mickey Mouse birthday and he has decided he wants Handy Manny, PERIOD. DOT. THE END. I keep trying to talk him into Mickey and he told me the other day "Mommy, I want Handy Manny birt-day party, you can have Mickey Mouse Birt-day party." SO, just so you all know, you are invited to my Mickey themed 26th birthday party in October

Thanks! I can't wait to see pictures of Emily's room! I am dying to get my hands on the rest of his room...but I am at a standstill since my dad's huge armoir is in there as well as a big bookcase. It would be nice if I could put large decals on the wall, but I don't know. I really want to repaint it. Maybe I could take a few days off work and make that my project over spring break...

Thanks! I remember having a toy hammock when I was little and since I refuse to throw out his animals I knew we needed to do something about the overflowing laundry basket!

I think every year around this time I join Match.com for a month just to check it out, but I never ever have any luck. I did meet someone last year for a date but that was a dud. I am a super talkative person and he just sat there and barely talked. I haven't dated since my ex fiance and I ended things in September 2007.

Anyway, great Mickey bedding! I had a Handy Manny birthday party for DS in October! Tons of pics if you want me to post them and I made his bday invite to look like planks of wood and the different screws, nails, bolt, etc (just like Manny's sign) with a picture of them at the bottom. I made a pull string pinata that was Stretch, for favors I had Mr. Loparts candy bar candy store. The cake table was the bakery. My dad made tool boxes for centerpieces. Anyway, if you want to see pics - or the invite let me know!

Remember Match.com?? I got an email today from a 29 year old DOCTOR and we went out tonight and had a couple of drinks. I had a great time, he is hilarious...and he bought my drinks (how nice) and I emailed him when I got home because I forgot to thank him. He wants to see me again!! Sorry but I am stoked...he is really cute, Lebanese, which is different from the normal guys I date and of course he is in medicine which means we have a lot in common. He said he wants to get together soon so hopefully we get to!
