Hey everyone!! Sorry I have been MIA and no I haven't been stuck at the doc's house. My internet keeps crapping out on me (I am at work now) and they said they probably will have someone out by tomorrow. I actually downloaded AOL dial up last night to check on some homework. Anyway wanted to let you guys know all is well in the Kara household. I will be updating tonight once I get home!!

Hello!

Okay...so I came home last night to an internet that was down again
So here are my updates! Not sure if I told you guys, but I work 12-8 normally and as of this past Thursday I am FINALLY on (semi) days! I am now working 10-6 and I am super stoked about it. I can finally spend some time with Rylan! Not sure about the doc. We have emailed scarcely the last couple days and not really talked...and I am not going to push it. HOWEVER. You guys are gonna be SO excited for me Another guy (well, a guy who peaked my interest....there are so many creepers on there emailing me) on Match emailed me. He is the same age as me, works for the state, has his Bachelors, doing his Masters right now, and starting law school next year. We started emailing yesterday and emailed all day...I got home and during the time that my internet was up, we IMed on facebook, then I went to a friend's house to "steal" his internet to work on school stuff and we IMed some more (and on the way there we talked on the phone LOL), and then after I left my friend's house we talked for 2 hours on the phone! AND HE LIKES DISNEY WORLD. Scratch that, he LOVES Disney and is going in June He loves kids. He is super intelligent and really cute (dimples and glasses, mmm). So yeah...needless to say the doc is being pushed to the back burner because I feel like Mr. Glasses and I have way more in common. We talked like we had been friends forever and it was so easy to have a conversation with him.

On to Disney LOL. I got a Ding for fares from Indianapolis to Orlando for $58 each way!! However, it was only through April 30th So I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get another ding, or the fares go to $69 each way. If so, I will jump! Two weeks from Monday until I can make my ADRs!! Hopefully the schedule will be opening up in a week too so that would be nice.

Congrats about Mr. Glasses! Sounds like a winner to me...oh and the fact that he LOVES Disney is a MAJOR plus!!!! So happy for you!

About Southwest, I checked their prices and are about $200 less than Airtran..and it's a direct flight!!

Well with Airtran the cheapest was $143.00 each way from Raleigh to Orlando--we have to change planes in Atlanta. Southwest was $126 or so...at any rate--the total for Airtran was $780 and Southwest was $580..plus we're going the week before Easter!!! That has a lot to do with it--I used to work for the airlines

You're going at a not so busy time for air travel---typically May is a very light travel month--then it gets busier from June-August...the falls off sharply in September and October

Good luck with getting your flights! Don't know how it works out for your dates but for us, Priceline had the cheapest prices by far.

Wow? I had an AWESOME time. He is a really really great guy and completely exceeded my expectations. He is hilarious and so down to earth...we met at Panera then went downtown and watched a movie and then went back to his place and hung out for a bit. We hung out for almost 6 hours! He even offered to pay for the babysitter! He said next time he wants to take me out to dinner and is insisting on paying for the sitter although I won't let that happen He is super cute and ahhh Hopefully it works out. I am not getting my hopes up because I have been so hurt in the past, but I think he is really a genuine guy who is really nice and just wants the "life" with a good girl. He said himself that he is very old fashioned. So yay! Keep keepin your fingers crossed for me!

That is SOOOOOO AWESOME!!!! I hope things keep on keepin on!! He sounds too good to be true, but then again my DH is too good to be true too, so it is possible! I'm so excited for you! You'ld better call CRO and change your reservations to 2 adults, 1 child!!!

I found the link to your PTR from another thread, so I started reading it, and I had to laugh a little at this because you could have been describing me! I once dated a woman who called me "Mr. Glasses", I have dimples, I worked for the state, and I went to law school (now a lawyer). So, that kind of made me chuckle. Sounds like my twin.
