OK, before 2008 rates came out, I had booked WL for a quick 2 nt Jan 2 to 4 trip for myself and DD17 and DD14. 2008 rates came out and no AAA available at WL so switched to BWI for only $50 nt more. When AP rates came out this week our rate at BWI went from $276.25 to $275. I check WL today and was able to book for $175 so back to WL we went. Tell me we will love the WL. We've been to lunch there before so I know it's beautiful but convince me I did the right thing.(I think I know I did.)Thanks!:flower3:

We have our first trip to the WL booked for May 29th through June 7th, 2008. I can hardly wait. It's been our dream resort. So, I can't really comment on the WL too much.

But....I don't think it would take too much to convince me I did the right thing if I were saving $100.00 a night!

I think you're going to have a wonderful stay and an extra $200.00 to spend on goodies!

I had planned on staying there again, but then was offered BC with the Disney Visa Code for almost $400 less for the week.

When we stayed at WL, I was able to upgrade to CY view with a pin code for less money then the standard I had booked. My boys loved waking up and looking at the pool, geyser, etc... We also could see some of the fireworks at night and the water parade. We spend a good bit of time at MK, and the location is great. We found the boat to be very convenient, and Roaring Forks was fine for what we needed.

Have a great trip!

Congrats on the great price :cool1: You are really going to love WL it is one of our favorites. It was our dream resort too:cloud9: We stayed there in 05 but I'm sure it's even better with the new rooms. It really is a resort, much like how Poly transports you to another place so does the WL you will love it
have a great trip

For us, it was love at first sight  We walked into the lobby just to look around, and we knew we HAD to stay there, so we booked our next stay at WL. We're going back this year in December, and can't wait! The boat ride to MK, the service, the atmosphere, it is awesome! Have a great trip!

The same thing happened to me - mumto2. I walked into the lobby and knew I had to stay there. I love the cozy warm feeling I get when I walk through the glass doors and see all the wood and the fireplace. It is great to come back after a chilly night in December and sit by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa. I love the convenience of the boat ride to the MK and CR which opens up so many other resorts for dining like the California Grill and Kona Cafe. The pool is great for the kids with the slide and the view of the lake and electric water parade is also a nice perk. You'll enjoy so much you'll wish you could stay longer. Have a great trip.

Thanks for your replys. When we visited WL a few years back we were in awe of the beauty. It was a hard decision to change from BWI because we love the Boarkwalk area so much (stayed at YC this summer.) However, for the price difference I feel much better trying the WL. My girls think we're staying at POFQ so they will be very surprised when we get on ME for WL! Can't wait.:yay: :flower3:
