Thanks! I was completely shocked! We typically have the same issue. Dallas to MCO is usually still not "on sale" enough for us. We were looking at an 18 hour drive, so we're so happy. Enjoy your cruise! We leave for our first ever cruise in 3 weeks out of Galveston, TX.Happy for you! I really love SW, but every time they offer sale fares, Rochester NY is excluded. I can’t figure out why!
We’re cruising out of Ft. Lauderdale in September and as of right now, JetBlue has SW beat, even with the baggage fees.
You should try buffalo. Consistently worth the drive and parking.Happy for you! I really love SW, but every time they offer sale fares, Rochester NY is excluded. I can’t figure out why!

Congrats! I'm jealous....
I've been stalking ours like crazy for our June trip and no luck. Normally I book well before now but DH has a conference during this trip so I was delayed a little bit till work confirmed he would definitely be able to go. As it is, we may have to fly into Tampa and Uber back to Disney because of our high the airfare currently is from Louisville to MCO.
That's great! Happy to have helped! Thanks for posting, I just checked and was able to get some of my points back because our airfare for next month dropped!
SW to any of the airports in or near PA seems to be terrible pricewise. I don't understand why. This trip I'm on now (CA to PA) I ended up flying into Newark and driving, but still not loving the price. I couldn't figure out how to book on the other airlines (disabled and large) so I stuck with SW.Thanks for the post OP but my fare actually went up. SWA is no longer my carrier of choice from Philadelphia. I can usually get better fares on American even with the baggage fees. I love SWA but sometimes my flight on American will be as much as $100 cheaper even with the fees.

Have you tried out of Cinci? I'm assuming you mean Louisville, KY here, but I grew up there and often the hour drive to Cinci would save us $100 - $150 per person round trip.
Yep, but unfortunately Cincy is currently even more than Louisville (for SW). And SW out of Cincy isn't direct, and sometimes there are direct ones out of Louisville so I keep crossing my fingers. I keep asking DH to consider Nashville or Columbus as the SW prices are much cheaper, but that turns into a 3.5-4 hour drive for us and he's not interested. I lean to SW because 1) I tend to pack too much and love that baggage is included but 2) we have 63,000 points with SW also.
