Just returned from 2 weeks of fun!
What great weather to return to!
Only a couple of downfalls we experienced.
The crowds were unbelievable, good job DD is 3 and to small to do the big rides, ie splash mountain.
We came across a couple of CAST MEMBERS who were not as friendly and cheerful as we normal experience.
Our hotel was the All Star resort.
we had several senior high school trips staying here who seemed to have no supervision. We do not have a problem with school trips, we just think they should be better supervised, one point we watched as they jumped a busy bus queue because 1 friend was near the front, we do not mind a couple of people jump the queue, it was when 10-12 joined them.
The hotel closed the main pool for the last three days of our holiday with no notification.
Right now that is out of the way!
The rest of our holiday was great!
She was allowed on Stich, she was not to keen on it. It is not a dauting as Alien, but still has the dark intense moments. I think Alien was better.
DD made sure we went on pirates at least once every time we went MK, and that was at least 5 times ! PIRATES LIFE FOR ME!!!
We went on the UPDATED small world, to be frank, looked no different to me.
Typhoon Lagoon has a new slide, CRUSH GUSHER, what a great ride, it is one of the new roller coaster type water ride, where water pushes you up, and next to this atraction is a new pool for children which is really nice, not deep and with no waves, and lots of sunbeds and chairs, no one seemed to know about it.
We booked the disney dinning plan when we booked our accomodation, AND WE THOUGHLY ENJOED IT AND GOT OUR MONEYS WORTH, £20 per adult and £6 for DD, for a day it cost £46. Not worked our how much we saved yet. But know our evening table service meals came to $100, and our counter service meals came to $22 and three snacks $7 so average $130 a day, converting this to £'s is more than what we paid
Would recommend it to any one, we ate at the Cinderella Royal Table, had serveral character meals, and did a disney dinner show.
We visited our Home resort SSR, and are really looking forward to next year when we go home!!
We used the bus to SSR, and did not experience problems with people using it to get to DTD, in fact we were the only people on it!!!! I know poeple have commented on this being a problem.
We watched Lights Motors Action, what an amazing show, it is a must see!!
The weather was in the high 70's to mid 80's, nice and warm, chilly on a night time.
Our flight was better than charter airlines ( our first time on a scheulded), food was good, and we arrived 1 hour early this morning.
