Just returned from our first ever visit to WDW. Trip report coming up in a few days with pics, but have a question for ya..
The wife and I are both 28, and have never to WDW prior to last week. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip, REALLY loved our stay at Vacation Village at Parkway (any closer, you'd be on the property! OK, thats a lie, you' be at the Radisson, but still...)
For those of you that made your first ever trip there as an adult, were you slightly dissappointed in MK? Did you think that Cinderalla's castle was only about half the size in reality verses the Disney marketing photos? That you could walk out the other side in about 20 paces or so? Did you think that 'It's a small world' would put you into a mental home before you finished it? Did you think that talking to the monorail driver (we got to sit up front!) about what would happen if a cow somehow appeared on the tracks is the coolest conversation to have with a CM?
We did enjoy the trip. We loved Epcot the best, and ended up spending 1.5 days there, split a day at MGM/AK, and a day at MK. Well, part of a day. We left at 2pm and went back to Epcot!
Edit - Forgot to mention the longest wait we had in any park was for Space Mountain - 10 minutes - and that included the 5 minute walk to the ride..
