Hi everyone. We just returned on Tuesday from our 2-week stay at WBC. It is a beautiful resort. The pools are fantastic. Even though our stay was during July the pools were never over-crowded.
We arrived at WBC about 2:30 pm. When we checked in we were informed that a room wasn't ready. We had groceries with us since we made a supermarket stop on the way to WBC. We used Tiffany Towncar and we had such a great experience using their service. We asked if they could store our food until a room was ready and by the time we came back from doing that, they informed us a room was ready.
We also had concerns about switching rooms during our stay because my reservations were split in 4 since I was checking in on a Tuesday and checking out on a Tuesday. We were informed that we would be in the same room for the entire stay.
We didn't try requesting a particular view or anything. The only thing we did ask was that it wouldn't be on the first floor since we have a very hyper-active 3-year old.
We were in a 2-bedroom deluxe in Tower 3 on the 7th floor, room 757. Our room faced the parking lot but we had a view of the golf course.
During our stay they did call several times about the timeshare presentation, but they always started the conversation asking how our stay was going and if we needed anything. They did mention some sort of new program they have, but when I said I wasn't interested, they ended the call right away. It was never too pushy.
We did have several problems in the room, but most of the problems were repaired the same day. The biggest problem we did have was with the freezer. For some reason one night it stopped working and our ice cream turned to milk and some of our frozen meat started to thaw. We realized it in the morning and called. Not long after our call they did send someone and the problem was fixed.
We also had some other problems, but they didn't ruin our vacation at all. The ironing board had a broken leg on it. One of the bedrooms had no lights after the first day or two so we just took a lightbulb from a living room lamp. The closet door in one of the bedrooms came off and the garbage disposal didn't work. A piece of wood also came off the bottom of the dining room table.
Besides that everything else was fine. The sleeper couch is really sturdy. It was pretty comfortable. Since there was 6 of us, we had to use it every night.
Since this is a timeshare, we were surprised when they came to clean the room after a week and that was great. She gave us more coffee and filters, paper towels and toilet paper.
The only thing that was hard for us was that we didn't have a car. No one in my family drives so we did use a lot of cabs to get around. We didn't bother with the shuttles too much, but the cost was $6.00 per person per day. You could use it to go back and forth to the parks more than once.
We had such a great time at BC that we are looking forward to going back again when we take our next summer vacation. The only thing that was lacking according to my 13 year old nephew is a basketball court.

. My ds 12 really wanted a basketball court as well, and figuring they had everything else there to do, he got over it quickly! The stay was nice. I would definitely recommend it to friends!
