Called at the top of the hour, waited 15 minutes, finally made it thru - told I could not make my reservations until the 90 day mark for my DVC trip in October. I was within the 90 + 10 day window since we arrive on 15 October. The reservationist said she does not have the reservation numbers for DVC in their system. I spoke with a supervisor and she informed me that this 90+10 window is only for those on the dining plan - not for room only, DVC, or off-site guests.

Not a good selling point for DVC in my opinion. Put $20,000 down now for 40+ years of vacations but you will never be able to book CRT reservations again!

It may be possible that they will release more times at the 90 day mark, but no one could assure me of this. I am livid. She suggested that I contact guest relations and relay my concerns. I will be e-mailing them today and I will be calling DVC as well.

Just worked fine for me. Got everything ten days out. With the exception of the Pirate Cruise for the kids - dining only. The pirate cruise I'll have to book at 90 days. They took my DVC reservation number without a problem.

We move to AKL the last night and I was able to make reservations for Boma for breakfast the day we leave, so their isn't a hard stop programmed in yet.

(Wasn't trying for Cindy's. Had to pick alternate times for Princess Storybook and Flying Fish - everything else got my first pick of times).

Interesting...I even spoke with a supervisor. Will be interested to hear from other persons experiences this morning. I can't understand how Disney can consistently give out inadequate instructions to their employees.

My sister and I had seperate calls this morning and had no troubles booking out through 10/21.

All of you guys, please call or e-mail MS right away asking them to pressure the PS folks from the inside to straighten this out. They need to know that some DVC members are getting helped and others are getting the elbow.

I wonder if the difference may be through DVC or WDW Dining for you PS. If you use the 1-800 number for DVC, they know about your reservation.

crisi and those who were successful, did you have your ressie number handy when calling?

I am staying at AKL concierge prior to DVC and they volunteered to help me with the rest of my ADRs, even though we will be at BCV. But they don't have my DVC ressie#...

Hopefully things will unfold today and we can know the real story as it pertains to DVC.

I was able to use the 90-10 program this moring . The CM told me he had no access to my reservation and asked if I was part of convention, I told him I was a DVC member. "Oh, that explains it!" He then went on to make all of my ADR's 10/14-10/21. I even scored CRT for breakfast. :cheer2: Good Luck calling back some of the CM must not understand the system yet. :sad2:

Zulaya- I booked 10/16@ 9a for a party of 9. We have another family who will meet us for breakfast. Today is the 90 day mark, so I don't know if that had any affect on my ADR. :scratchin

The reservationist asked for my last name and for my zip code. I had my reservation # ready to give but she said the DVC reservation #'s were not in the system. Then I spoke to the supervisor and asked her to put the reservation # in to check (after ranting on for a minute or so on how unfair the system was), but she went ahead at that time and asked for the day I wanted CRT and booked it for me adding at the end that she could be fired for this (that is why I didn't mention this fact earlier, I felt a little guilty). She implored that I make contact with guest relations to voice the problem the them and she was going to let her supervisor know. I am glad that others are able to make their ressie's, however, the inconsistency nevers fails to amaze me in such a well oiled machine like Disney.

My CRT is for the 92 day mark.

DIZZNY- I am glad that you were able to book CRT. They always seem to have so many kinks with each new change. I am really surprised the supervisor wasn't aware of the programs policies.

I'm wondering if people who are being helped are calling the 1-800 DVC # and others who aren't are calling the WDW-DINE #, or the other way around, like someone said. Those of you who didn't have any problems, which # did you call?

Wdw Dine

I also didn't bother to dial until after 6:30 CST - since I wasn't trying for Cindy's. After about 20 minutes I got the Cindy's is booked message, lines cleared and I was talking to someone about three minutes later. So its possible that the extra 50 minutes cleared some confusion. The rep I talked to didn't seem to bat an eye over "DVC Confirmation Number"

You know, when I first saw the info on the new dining program on Mousesavers this weekend, the first thing I thought of was that our reservations were not in the main system and that there would probably be confusion regarding DVC folks. I need to make dining reservations in 2 weeks, and I kept thinking about how it took them several weeks to work the kinks out of the Magical Express program (although a much bigger change of course).

It sounds, however, like they may have already figured out a process that will work with DVC folks, and just need to update all the dining folks that answer the phones. I'm going to send a little note to DVC anyway, just "encouraging" them to ensure the DVC folks are going to remain part of the program. I figure the more pressure, the better. ;)

I called wdw-dine and didn't have to give my ressie # - just my home phone. I was able to make CRT reservations with no problem for 93 days out.

For some reason, I am a tad confused regarding this post. I called DVC 1-800 number, and asked what the dining rules were for our trip in December. I was told 90 days. This is just for our regular room stay, not any kind of dining program. Is this what we are talking about here? {I hate to appear ignorant, but sometimes it just comes naturally} :sad2: :confused3
