Anyway,
i have been having problems with my ipod touch 3g. I would have to smack it every time to turn it on. With that in mind i thought it was the battery...hoping it was the battery and nothing worse. So i take it to apple to diagnose it. The guy comes back and tells me it's not the battery. The home button (aka the button on the front bottom) is broken. THe only option is to buy the same one for $150. or have 10% off a new version.
i don't want to spend $150.00 for the same one because of the 4g model. Why go with the same one when there is a better one?
The worse thing is that my ipod was only 1 year 2mths old. I think a $225 ipod touch 3g should last for more then 1 year (and 2 mths).
should i make a big fuss to apple or
just put up the extra $278.00 for a new ipod?

. In their defense, most companies do not service items under warranty after the warranty is up. In addition, you could have purchased an extended warranty through Apple Care or another company. I know that I received many emails from Apple telling me my warranty was going to be up soon and offering Apple Care.
