Incidentally, I've heard that the people at Apple can be very generous. A story on the radio said that one man had to return his iPad because his wife wouldn't let him keep it. When the folks at Apple heard about it, they sent him another one free of charge. So who knows, you might get lucky. Just remember to be polite

I found Apple to be extremely generous. My dd received an iPod for Christmas. Her younger sister dropped it 2 months later and smashed the screen which of course this is not covered by warranty. I took it in for repair fully expecting to pay $180 as they told me on the phone. They just swapped it over for me. I couldn't believe it. I had been honest and told them what had happened and never expected this.

Well, I just got back from apple store....

with my new Free ipod touch 3g (32gb).

I was very surprised. They took more time to look at the ipod to see what was wrong with it, then the other store. Then the girl goes to see her manager and comes back. Well because it's 2 mths over warrenty, I've talked to my manager and i can give you the same one fore free.

I did, ask for thee 4g... but only the 3g. while i asked i was like "Shut up megan." lol.

soooo happy.

I dropped my iphone in the toilet yesterday and well, had to get a new one... it sucked.

Yeah i'm glad i got it for free. i purchased two new cases w/ straps and bling. But accidently cut the stings of the straps. I also went to Best Buy and got a screen protector but stupid people put on a ipod touch 4g screen protector by accident. Oh well. At least most of it is covered. lol.
