Just made my first ever reservation online!! Please answer a couple ???

So recently bought a resale contract at VGC. Tonight I made reservations for my DD18 graduation trip to WDW and another trip to DL in December using the online booking system. I thought it was pretty easy but I still have a couple of questions. First I did not see a place to put a room request. Do I call MS to do that? Was there a place online to do that , but I just missed it or what? Also, I have an Oct use year. I made the December reservation with 2013 points but will probably bank some 2011 point before the end of May. If so, do I call MS to get the points used for that December reservation switched to the banked points or will that happen automatically?

Finally, my daughter has always wanted to stay at AKL with a savanna view. I had to do a split stay between Kidani and Jambo, because could not get a single reservation for the entire time. Reading the threads here it seems that each has advantages and disadvantages. So for those that have been there, should I try to waitlist so we dont have to move or just keep the split stay. I really appreciate all of the very helpful people on this board.

For requests you will have to call.

You will have to call if you want to use a different set of points. Why did you borrow points instead of using the ones you plan to bank. Those you borrowed, you know have to now stay in the year you borrowed into, they will not go back into 2013

I would wait list so you don't have to move.

Congrats on getting a contract - if I recall correctly, you and I were both looking for a VGC contract at about the same time.

Most requests will have to be phoned in to MS. I've read some members send emails, but I always call. They have added some requests for some resorts to the on line system, but not all resorts have anything added other than booking categories (like near HH at OKW). I now at VGC, where I just booked a couple of upcoming reservations, I had to call to request the park view. It's not on the on line system yet.

Yes, Breyan. and I think we both suffered the curse of a ROFR on the last day. I had better luck the next time with a slightly higher price and a different use year.

Sammie - I didn't borrow - I just had a newbie brain fart! I was thinking "next year's point allotment" which is correct, but then I wrote 2013, which is wrong with my October use year. The points used were 2012 points
