I just called WDW to see if I had any pin codes. I did have one for May 23-27 and for Nov 13-19 and the middle of Dec, the normal 25, 30, and 35% off ones but I didnt have anything for Oct, 20-31st.
She told me to book my Oct trip now and make sure I called back on March 1 as early as I could. When I asked why she said they are releasing all kinds of new pin codes but she couldnt say what they are but they should make me very happy. She said WDW is giving out OT to all the reservationists next week to handle the overflow of calls they are expecting.
She also mentioned to check my email this weekend as well as my mail for tomorrow and Monday as they will send the info that way, just in case I forget to call in. She verified all the email addresses I have as well as my husbands so we didnt miss it.
I did book 11 nights at the POFQ in a king bed with AAA for $2026 for room only. The Dolphin king room would have cost me $1988 with AAA, makes more sense to stay there but we love WDW resorts and hopefully that price will go down when the discounts come out. Who knows, maybe I will wind up doing a split stay?
The CM also said that WDW is going to be shying away from the general public receiving the same discounts as the AP holders and FL residents. Yes they will still receive a discount but it will be less than the AP and FL residents.
That is good news to me!
