I am very excited! Yes I know that today was the first day they went on sale but I got them anyway. Couldn't get the DVC discount though for the only day we were able to go. I got them for Friday, October 10. The CM did say that Oct. 9 was a discounted night. Do any of you dress yourselves up or only your kids? Thanks!

How fast do they usually sell out?

We'd like to be in WDW the third week of October and were eyeing Oct 21st for the party, but planning to buy into DVC in the next 1-2 weeks and want to wait until the purchase is done.

We got ours today, too!:yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: :yay: :cheer2: We only have one opportunity to go, like OP, so we knew we needed to book it ASAP for Oct 31- plus it's just fun to book it anyway, right?:goodvibes Our boys will be dressed (of course) and DH & I will be, too. But, so far, he veto-ed the CJS costume I gave him for Christmas (we're on DCL the day after, he COULD have worn it twice, 3 times if you count the night of our friends' Halloween parties that will happen before) and all I'm sayin' is ...who is DH gonna BE? Please feel free to suggest ANY costumes you think will work for that big guy in my sig!:goodvibes

This will be our first time to Disney during the Christmas Party. Is it worth it to purchase the tickets? My girls are 5 & 7. My oldest loves the rides.

Just got ours.. Sept 23rd... I know it's early but the planning is half the fun. :woohoo:

I got ours too. We are going on Tuesday October 21st. So, I was able to get the dicounted tickets. Yes, we do dress up!! I wouldn't have it any other way!! :)

I would say absolutely yes, every Disney regular should experience the Christmas party!
2 years ago was the 1st time for DW (who has gone to WDW nearly every year of her life), and absolutely loved it, so we did it again last year!
To DW, the longer Christmas parade (extra magical with snow falling on Main Street) and longer fireworks shows brought back memories from her childhood when the parades and fireworks were (or seemed to be) much larger than they now are.
I did overall find that going on rides was easier during the party, but that is not the point of the party.
