Was pirate night changed to Thursday because of the altered itinerary?

I was told the eastern pirate night is always between STM and STT (Tues). If it has been moved to Thursday it will be a snag for us. Choose between Palo with my DW or Pirate Party with the kids!

Yes, it was because of the change. The weather was bad pulling out of St. Maarten, so they had to change the date of the party to the Nassau night.

We are now home from our truly Magical cruise, and I have to say, the ship looks beautiful!!!!!!!!!
We had the best time!!! Our dining rotation started out PLAPLAP, our dining time was 6:00PM!!
Unfortunately because of Omar, things had to be changed......the dining rotation, itinerary, and navigater!
We were unable to go to St Thomas, so we headed to Nassau, We didn't arrive there until 2PM Thursday! Which didn't leave us a whole lot of time to do anything there because that was the night Pirate Night was changed to!!!
And with this being our first DCL cruise, we wanted to experience all of Pirate Night!!!
Even with all the changes, we had an incredible time!!! The captain did a very good job at keeping us out of storms at sea!! We did get some rain at St Martin and Nassau, but once we left those ports, everything was great!!! CC was beautiful!!! Perfect weather!!
If anyone has any question, I would be happy to answer them!!!

When you say the ship was beautiful , can you tell us about the condition of the cabins ( new bedding , new tv's, new furniture ), the adult pool , new splash area, and anything else that comes to mind as improvements from the drydock.

the only new thing in the rooms were the tv (very nice) eveything else was not changed. Our room looked just fine, just slight wear and tear from everyday use. Honestly I didn't go around on my hands and knees looking for every little dings and scratch the ship had and did not really notice anything really bad LOL as for the splash area, I tought it was really cute, but I saw alot of kids slipping and falling in there. I guess it's pretty slippery. I couldn't tell you about the adult pool or the goofy pool, just never spent any time there!

Like Pinkygirl said, the only improvements to the rooms were the tv's! But I didn't have any issues with my room at all!!!

ALfred and Seymour are back? They are hilarious and very friendly...we met them after their show on our last cruise in May! They were getting off the ship after the WB Repo Panama cruise.

They were probably my favorite entertainers of the whole cruise. They were supposed to leave when we hit St. Thomas, but got stuck on board, so they were added to the 'Til We Meet Again show the last night. I chatted with Alfred while standing on line for the dessert buffet (what is with all those people? You'd think they never had dessert before! )

We only missed St.Thomas because we had never been there before but we understood the Captains safety measures and were sure thankful on that. Who was to think that there would be a hurricane show up

I loved the pirate party...we were up on deck 10 in the rain, it was COLD!! I had to run back to the room when the rain stopped to get a towel for Chris because he was too cold. We were up there partying with Gail and Merkie and now we are suffering from it...Both Christopher and myself have had coughs since we have gotten home ...but nothing that didnt make it worth partying for

We LOVED Alfred and Seymore...I had to get my hubby a shirt while on the cruise and get their autographs for him. He loved them and we ran into them often while on the ship. We are still saying "For seventy five thousand dollars you better find something to laugh about!!!" Does anyone know how much longer they will be on the Magic Cruise ship? Mike read that they have been off and on the Magic for about a year now But they are AWESOME and our favorite acts of the cruise.
